What are perfect IVs?
To my understanding, IVs are initial values when a Pokemon hatches. Having them add up to 31 is optimal and means they'll scale up best as the Pokemon levels up. Is this right?
How can we know what a Pokemon's IVs are when caught above level 1?
Me no understand.
Mewtwo is the only challenging legendary to catch. After failing 40 Pokeballs I got him with a Paralyze+1HP.
Are Chatot literally impossible to catch? I'm getting them down to a sliver of health and they still break free right away.
I have around half a box of Honedges. It didn't take that long in comparison to other people.
Either use an IV Calculator or take them to the IV Judge at Postgame City and he will tell you in words. What are perfect IVs?

I caught one. Don't remember too much difficulty
I eventually caught one, it was weirdly difficult, have you tried putting it to sleep, paralyzing it, etc.?
*sobs uncontrollably*
I have 13 boxes of eevees. Gotta keep on fighting though. I'll get one eventually.
How many did you have to hatch?I've been trying to breed eevees for 15-18 hours, I have over 420 of them and still no luck D:
Aside from the box legendaries, just about all legendaries have the same catch rate. 3. The lowest it can go.
Wut. After Gym 5 you'll pretty much encounter Haunter in every cave and on many routes (swamp before Gym 6, for example).
Also, GTS.
If you breed with destiny knot 5 are taken from 1 parent and the 6th is random. If you get 2 pokemon with good IVs in two different stats you may have a better time breeding them normally to get 4 desired IVs then starting up the destiny knot.So as far as getting a pokemon with 5 31 IVs... What I want to be doing is catching two from the Safari with IVs I want, breeding those with the destiny knot until I can transfer all 4 over to one baby, then breed that with one which has another until I can finally get the combination right is that correct?
Anyone able to share that friend Safari google doc again?
Is there another unlockable boy haircut aside from the medium perm?
I know that feel bro.I'll be trading away my modest eevees, all XXX amount of them when I finally get a shiny. I really can't afford to stop breeding. I hate myself.

I was under the impression it was 5 from both parents from what people in this thread were saying. If you breed with destiny knot 5 are taken from 1 parent and the 6th is random. Can't imagine Xerneas and Yveltal have low capture rates, caught them both within 3 Pokeballs without status ailments.
All beingin this game.two
Oh. I hadn't encountered it and Bulbapedia said it wasn't in the game.
Everything is a lie.
Because they're on the box and part of the main story.Their catch rates are probably closer to 40.
What are a few really good flying types? I said I would never train Fletchling and 82 levels later... I never like him.
I know that feel bro.
I'll keep him around for eggsPure flying? The only ones i'd possibly ever use would be Braviary or Staraptor.
Though Talonflame ability is useful for hatching eggs![]()
Checked some Gamefreak threads and yeah it seems to take 5 from either parents so it could be 3 from dad 2 from mum or whatever. The way I read it was that it took 5 from either parent, 50/50 chance. If that's how it works then that's great.
Thanks! One on there with a Dragonair, I'll have to add themHere you go man. Let me know if that doesn't work for whatever reason.
