5th badge, 16 hours

Finally leaving Lumiose City, such a hassle to navigate.

Route 14 looks pretty good with the autumn color in the trees
GameFreak, you disappoint me by taking seasons out

Where can I get Dusk Stones? People said before you could get a ton of evolutionary stones from just Pokemon Amie but all I get is furniture.

Need to evolve Doublade into Aegislash ASAP, been too long just as Doublade. I feel like I might be missing out on moves.

I still need the 8th badge but I stopped to try some online battles and I'm 5-1 so far. I'm really loving Clawitzer and Aegislash even though I don't even have all the choice stuff or anything.

Beat Aegislash in Super Training Lvl. 2 within the time limit and you'll get the Dusk Stone. You need to use any Pokemon that's finished every single one of the first six training games.

EDIT: Should be more specific, by 'time limit', I mean within the target time.

I just got given (mid-game spoiler)
Lucario
with a Hasty nature. I'm thinking Spd and Sp.Atk? But then again, most of my Pokemom are sort of leaning that way, I have a Charizard who I have maxed the two, also with a hasty nature. I have a Frogadier with a Modest nature so I'm going to train him with Sp.Atk, and I guess speed again? I also have an Alakazam with a Quiet nature, what the hell should I train that on?

And then there are IV's which I don't understand. Ugh, why did I take it upon myself to go deeper.

I have Cascoon, Swalot and Whirlipeede. That's even worse :(

Quick Feet isn't terrible for Scolipede though. Toxicroak's hidden ability is Poison Touch I think, which probably wouldn't be used over Dry Skin since immunities are so useful.

Aegislash doesn't learn anything. Just keep Doublade until 51 so it'll learn Sacred Sword, then evolve it. You'll need a heart scale to learn King's Shield, though.

Does anyone know how to get more Metal Coats or is there only the one from the Poke Ball Factory?

Oh. I haven't picked that up yet. Where exactly is it?

Wasn't Scolipede's hidden ability changed to Speed Boost?

Okay, I think I've decided that Dragonite is going to be the first pokemon I try to get 5 perfect IVs on. I think I've got it figured out anyway haha.

Is there a trick to getting the EV reset bags? My exp share fucked up my Evs and now my Blastoise and Venasaur have much too many HP points.

Didn't see this properly responded but I noticed that I tend to get them much more often (along with helpful bags like 2X EVs for next Super Training) if it's a Pokemon that's fully EV Trained. Try that.

And reposting since I didn't see an answer 2 pages ago. :(
In addition to hidden ability questions, if I breed a Ditto with a male Quilladin w/ Bulletproof, Quilladin should have a chance to pass it down, right? Or do I have to use a female Quilladin for a higher chance to?

And does having Ditto transform into a weak Pokemon like Magikarp still affect its capture rate?

Give Aegislash King's Shield, learned by the move relearner with a Heart Scale.
Since I'm assuming this is an in-game team the rest looks fine, unoptimal natures for a lot of them but it doesn't matter.

You could always make Lucario into a Physical Attacker because Hasty doesn't hinder its Att and you can use its Mega Evolution since iirc Mega Lucario has increased Attack rather than SpA.
Alakazam will still be speedy with a Quiet nature so stick to
252 SpA/252 Speed.
Quick Feet isn't terrible for Scolipede though. Toxicroak's hidden ability is Poison Touch I think, which probably wouldn't be used over Dry Skin since immunities are so useful.
The Venipede line now has Speed Boost as their Hidden Ability.

Hurray.

Argh, I'm absolutely hating the fact that made reset bags random now.

Are there certain circumstances that makes them more common? I used to be able to get them fairly quickly but now can't seem to find any.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm having a problem with Sky battles. I don't understand how to get them to function. I have both Hawlucha and Farfetch'd in my party (Farfetch'd is even first up), but whenever I go to initiate one the person says "sorry, you don't seem to have any flying Pokemon".

What the hell am I missing here?

man, this game just keeps on giving. I'm just exploring now that I have strong enough pokemon strong enough not to worry and the last few catches I've had are nuts. Ursaring, Scyther, Noibat, Pupitar, Mawile, Dratini and the Dome/Helix Fossils. Makes me wish I had spent more time exploring before tackling the E4.

I'm guessing Hawlucha and Fardetch'd aren't eligible for Sky Battles, which is dumb. :<
List of Pokémon that are exempt:
Non-Flying types. Pokémon without Levitate. Pidgey, Spearow, Farfetch'd Doduo, Dodrio, Hoothoot, Murkrow, Delibird, Taillow, Starly, Chatot, Pidove, Ducklett, Fletchling, Hawlucha
From Serebii.

Gamefreak is picky about that. The pokemon has to have some kind of flying animation to join the battle. :/

After almost 5 days of SR'ing (didn't want to count the number of resets and feel disappointed) I finally got my Shiny Froakie. Time to start this very special X run!

My offer is open to anyone as well if they are willing to trade their Metal Coat for an Adamant Scizor (I do have some starter Pokemon as well).

After many good-but-imperfect 4 31 IV Buizel, I now have a 31/31/31/X/31/31 Jolly Buizel in a Luxury Ball. It's also male so I can breed Jolly physical attackers in its egg group without too much trouble now!

I'd like a little more variety in my friend safari choices as I seem to have a lot of rock and psychic areas. So if anyone adds me as a friend I will gladly return the favor. Just send me a message with you FC in case I accidentally skip a reply or something.

If possible, I'd love to find a safari that has Farfetch'd.

Aw yeah, caught Xerneas. Threw two Premier Balls at it with yellow health and that was it.

The following fight was surprisingly challenging now that I've had exp share off for a while.

Anyone ? I'd really like to know which Pokémon I got in my Safari.

Check mine too, I guess.
