...Chesnaught is even more amazing though. Took some time to get used to. I wish his shiny form was the regular colour.
You actually use the Thunderstone on it, you don't give it to Pikachu as a hold item.
Take off his Thunder Stone, go back to your bag and use it on your Pikachu instead. Don't equip it.

I kept b-buttoning my Chespin till Level 35 and used a rare candy. Chespin can handle the first half of the game pretty well so he doesn't need Quilladin's ugly mug.
I skipped the last 2 or 3 or 4 pokemon generations so i'm going to everything blind. The last game I played was probably mystery dungeon on the DS. Hopefully his final evo is worth it. Seeing this pedo grassbear made me turn off battle animations instantly.

Some of the battbattle animations are pretty cool. Also Quilladin is a hedgehog and chesnut not a bear.
So there I was in a link battle with an acquaintance of mine.
I was down to just my aegislash and another pokemon and he had his own goodra, aegislash and mega pinser remaining. Somehow I get an opportunity to swords dance when he switches out into goodra.
He uses muddy water with goodra. It doesn't do much, so I counterattack with +2 shadow claw. Goodra takes a lot of damage. This part is fuzzy: he swaps into his own Aegislash, and my trusty Spookalibur takes it out with a critical +2 shadow claw. I forgot how I got rid of the goodra.
It's now down to the pinser and spookalibur. He predicts the shield and sets up with swords dance. I use shield again, he goes in with thrash. Kings brings pinser down to normal attack.
I have spookalibur swing, but it isn't enough to finish pinser. Thrash gets me down to 3 health.
I'm running out of options. Hoping for confusion damage, I use my last king's shield. He attacks anyway, king's shield decreases attack but anything would be able to kill me at that point.
Final turn. Confusion from thrash is calculated, he takes confusion damage. Spookalibur switch to sword form and finish it with Shadow Claw.

I don't know if you can do it in X version, but there's an NPC that will trade his Steelix for a Luvdisc.
So I would just do Scyther.
Just got my second Shiny in X (that makes 2/3 of my wild shiny encounters in a few days).

So there has to be something up with shinies right? If not in gen 6 at least in Friend Safri right?
I got two shinies in the friend safari also. I'm guessing they just upped the rate in general.
My man. at least if i click fast enough in battle I don't have to see him.
I'll probably only turn on battle animations once I have a new set of pokemon around level 25+. Having them off really speeds things up.

See I wanna give mine King's Shield, but if I were to do so I'd have to give up Metal Head or Sacred Sword. Never Shadow Sneak though. Never in a million years. Even fully Speed EV'd he has trouble outpacing dudes, so Shadow Sneak has saved his ass several times.
Though King's Shield would also save his ass, being able to immediately not only go into shield stance, but also just plain blocking....

Ah, you need the badge for it. That explains it: I registered in my head that I already talked to him, so I skipped over him on the way out.
I quite honestly don't find room for sneak because if it doesn't finish the other THAT TURN, Aegislash has a 99% chance of dying instead. I play defensive anyway and he synergizes with Joan (Chesnaught) well.

I use Modest for my Sylveon. I wager Modest would work for most of them.
I've done it and had no problems.
