Destiny Knot increases amount of IVs inherited to 5.

Power items force one of the IV inheritance slots to be a specific stat. They do not add a slot.

Therefore, Perfect Speed IV transferred + 4 more, not 5.

And yes, the Destiny Knot works and it's bloody amazing. As for how amazing it is, well... Let's just say pseudo-flawless is now the standard for handbreeding everything that isn't a mixed attacker. Trick Roomers will be slightly annoying but the judge tells you if a Pokemon has a rock-bottom IV in addition to the max IVs so once some TR stock starts circulating it shouldn't be an issue.

I quite honestly don't find room for sneak because if it doesn't finish the other THAT TURN, Aegislash has a 99% chance of dying instead. I play defensive anyway and he synergizes with Joan (Chesnaught) well.

Hrm. That is true, now that you mention it... I guess it would make sense to swap it for King's Shield. I mainly loved it because then he could Shadow Sneak anything before they got a quick smack in, but since King's Shield will priority reset him, that removes that concern... Welp, there I go I guess.

Timid/Modest except for Sylveon, Umbreon for a more special defensive set, Vaporeon with Bold for a defensive set, and Leafeon/Flareon has more of a physical set so go with Jolly or Adamant with them.

Vulpix is my favourite Pokemon, so I'm really happy about that. Ferroseed was just icing on the cake.

Only took me ~30 Vulpix eggs to hatch the shiny. But I had been hatching other eggs for a couple hours. Probably around 150 total.

Route on the right of Shalour City. There's a guy there, right before the water, that tells you about his Lapras, and asks if you want to keep it. You'll need a free slot in your party in order to pick it up. I think you need to have beaten the 3rd gym first, because he mentions the badge.
 
Aegislash does have a major weakness, now that I think about it: if you hit him with any sort of status move, the pattern is ruined. It's incredibly combo-reliant, and if anything at all slips up, your finished. This is exacerbated by the fact that King's Shield does not protect against status moves.

Although the fact that you will swap into shield/sword form anyway regardless of whether the move is successful or not can help (or hinder, depending on the situation).

Here's a little observation for breeders and people anal about Poke Ball skins: if Ditto is acting as the "female" of the pair, the skin will be reset to the regular Poke Ball regardless of the ball Ditto has.

  • Vaporeon's typical niche is a bulky water tank, so bold suits her just fine. If you want to focus on offense, modest.
  • Jolteon's got a decent Special Attack stat and great speed, so timid is what you'd be looking for to make sure he ends up fastest.
  • Flareon... probably adamant so in the unlikely event it doesn't die in a single hit it can dish out some damage. Flareon's a joke.
  • Espeon will usually run timid to hit first since its special attack stat is impressive on its own. If you've got one with magic bounce you could use a defensive nature for baton passing.
  • Umbreon's generally support since he's got some pretty mediocre attacking stats. You'd probably want to run calm on him and stall out with toxic.
  • Leafeon would probably benefit most from jolly to make up for its middling speed.
  • Glaceon is also a joke with pathetic speed, so modest probably gives it the best chance to do something.
  • Sylveon, not sure. You could go special wall with calm, or bulky attacker with a timid or modest calm mind set.
 
Can egg moves be inherited from 1 generation to another?

For example, I have a Squirtle with Aura Sphere and I breed with another Wartortle, will the resulting Squirtle still have Aura Sphere?
 
I am having trouble deciding whether I should make a goodra modest special attacker or adamant physical attacker. After finding out it learns power whip, I was really leaning toward that...

Opinions? The difference in base stat between attack and special attack is ten.
 
Anybody have a Weavile?

After a complete BS loss to the 20th foor of the tower I really don't want to play the tower for 48 BP again. Hoping I can swap someone back and forth a Gliscor (or just trade outright) so I can skip the Razor Claw.

So this is like the third time I'm asking. I've scoured the internet and the instruction manual trying to find a solution to no avail.

Has anyone figured out how to delete a PSS Friend?

I added a guy after a trade and then he Game Chatted me and turned out to be some 12 year old somewhere who screamed and swore at me because I wouldn't give him any Legendaries...

Deleting them from your 3DS Friend List doesn't seem to do it. THey just sit perpetually on your PSS Friends section, forever offline.

No, maybe I'm exaggerating 'BS' but the second I saw I could kill their Pokemon easily I knew they'd be faster than me. They were, and one shot my first. My second Pokemon..missed and died. Lost the final 1on1 because of a crit in their favor.

First time I lost a few floors earlier due to non-stop 'in love' stuns, 5 in a row I think, followed by 2 paralyze stuns. I don't know how anybody can enjoy 20+ floors in a row where you lose at any time to RNG.
 
I have a Modest Charmander with Solar Power that I want to trade for an Eevee with Anticipation (preferably Timid). Any takers?
