Anyway caught Xerneas and man... I don't remember legendaries being this easy to catch before. Caught it with the first ball i threw out. o.o

Well he's actually really great in-game especially with Compound Eyes Sleep Powder.

Mine has swarm with a timid nature. Currently holding silver powder for the pin needle.
If he's legitimately someone worth looking into competitively, might be the first one I'll use to get into breeding.
Two other designs I really like but have rarely used:
Scyther and Sandslash, are they decent?

Just caught a Goomy. I've seen it mentioned a few times on here. Is it special or something?
scizor is pretty widely used in competetive pokes.
sandslash less so but the main game is easy enough for it not to matter.
only way to do pokemon single-player is with a team you like anyways. hell, you may even be able to run scyther the whole time.
How much of this am I going to have to do? This is irritating.

Edit: Also, is there a reliable way to check my non-31/0 IVs? I don't want to have to bother someone to Wi-Fi battle every time I want to check.

I found this out when my Aegislash got frozen for seven goddamn turns in a row during a ranked match. It was a silver lining to being whittled down by surf for 3 minutes straight.
Still my only ranked loss.
Though it makes more sense than hatching demon swords out of eggs.
Most of the clothing content unlocks later in the game. Only a few shops in the first half of the gyms/region.
I'd say make your focus on getting a hat/hair combo that you're happy with early on.
I've been throwing up all the Honedges I'm breeding looking for a Brave one. I got a modest Fennekin, which was pretty cool, but also a Weedle, 2 Bunnelbys, an Oddish, and back to back Bidoofs.

So I just bought the "Official Kalos Region Guidebook," only to realize that it doesn't have what I was really looking for: What abilities each Pokemon can learn, and when to evolve them.

Visiting cafes and stores come in normally since you'd be curious on what they offer. You might as well visit the whole Lumiose since they give items.
