2. Gather Pokemon with Perfect IVs in any given stat (Friend Safari, Breeding, etc)

Not really. Just remember to get a couple Heart Scales and hit up the move rememberer to give your Aegislash Sacred Sword and King's Shield.

Yes it's true when my Pichu's SpA and Speed were maxed out the Relicanth Balloon gave me 6 points instead of 8

If the Pokemon has low HP but good DEF and SP. DEF there is greater benefits than increasing those. However if this pokemon with low HP has a life draining move it is better to keep the HP low for better performance.

I'm going to assume the best course would be based on your pokemon's base stats. Put EVs to either fill in a weaker base stat or boost a good one.

Assume though, I don't really know for sure I am a novice at all the EV meta stuff.

Totally forgot to post this. I finished the E4 last night.

Given the chance, I would have gone with an All-GenVI party but I just couldn't resist having Charizard, Gardevoir and Lucario. Given the chance, I think I'll change at least Gardevoir with a Florges and Lucario with Pangoro. I'd definitely do it with the next version.

After you got enough style, you will find him in Lumiose's Cafe Introversion (near Route 4 entrance).

Honestly, this is in my top three poke games (RSE > GSC > XY). The region was vibrant, the ost was wonderful and it was just plain charming. Also for the first time since RSE I ventured into this game w/o knowing a lot of details so it truly felt like I was on a adventure again. This gen also brought back some of my friends and family members who hasn't touched a poke game since GSC or RSE back into Pokemon. It's such a fun feeling enjoying this game with others.

My only complaint that it was a wee bit easy compared to the older gens.

Can't wait for Pokemon Z or X-2/Y-2 or whatever they throw at us. Game Freak really outdone themselves this gen.

Wow, 37 hours in and I am just getting to the town with the 2nd Gym. I've played every Pokemon game in the series and I've never spent so much time exploring and doing stuff in between Gyms. This is in Y, but I also have X which I have been alternating with. These games will keep my busy for a long time it seems.
