Gonna ask one last time, any way to boost my chances of capturing a Xerneas with good IVs/nature? Also,
Capture rate for legendary pokemon has been boosted for these games, which is pretty welcome.
does the one that appears if you kill it without capturing it have the same IVs/nature as the one you fought before or does it reset?

Start the fight with a Pokemon with Synchronize on the front, and Xerneas will have a 50% chance of getting the same nature as the Pokemon with Synchronize. IV's are random, and probably yes to the last question.
So hypothetically you could find a perfect IV ditto, breed it with a Pokemon until you get a perfect IV child, and then breed ditto and that child and get non-stop perfect IV children?
Since its from both, wouldn't that require perfect IVs from the other side, too?
Yup.
Just have to breed enough times for the perfect IV Ditto to pass the IVs down, and then breed one of the babies. Use Destiny Knot of course to make it much more likely.

Wow.... I completely forgot about vitamins. How is that even possible? Damn. Thankfully vitamins probably save you like 10 minutes of time so not all is lost.

I just bred Ralts over and over. Only Ralts and Abra have it and both are rare. Also both can have an other ability so trying to catch a good one is infuriating.
The fact that its not listed at the top is silly, too.

For the most part. It takes 5 IVs out of 6 so you can't get non-stop perfects, but you can get close enough.

Swamp was the worst area for me, too. Plus it's home to that miserable little slug.

Apparently if you do more jobs your pay gets raised. I'm currently making $10k a job and that's only after the second day of trying these. It's highly possible the amount goes much higher.

I just encountered a shiny Teddiursa in friend safari - my first shiny encounter since Gen 1, but then... I accidentally pressed Run.

For those questioning the IV's of legendaries, read the thread, all "no-egg" pokemon (including all legendaries) always have 3 max'd IV's in X/Y. Use power items to lock in a stat (correct me if I'm wrong but I spent quite a bit of time on smogon last night and this is what I gathered, none of its proven but its been verified by over a dozen people)

Anyone have a guide for IV breeding in XY?
I'm going for a epic Butterfree, have a Caterpie with 31 in HP, and a Butterfree with 30 in DEF and likely SPATK.
Someone above hatched a Shiny Ralts, isn't that due to traded Pokemon having a higher Shiny Egg yields?
Yeah, you can get another one off a Roggenrola.
I remember finding one from a roggenrolla in the reflecting cave earlier.

Any body have the insect exclusive to X? I think it was pinsir. I have a level 1 heracross and want to trade it for a Pinsir if anybody would be willing. Friend code is 5300-9158-4803.
