Has anyone started messing around the berry fields yet? I think after I beat the E4/Champion, I'll start making EV-reducing berries and pass them out via trade. I like the reset bag, but I think it's better just pruning away unwanted EVs with berries.

Is there any chance of any kind of DLC?

So many things left unanswered that need to be taken care of!

For instance:
The Orbs found in Zygarde's place, the ghost lady, finding all of Arceus's plates, the game saying that Blue was in the Kalos region, etc etc etc.
There were ghost girls in DP and BW too. In BW she randomly appeared on a bridge and I don't think that was ever 'explained'. There's also a note on the back of a timetable in the station in Lumiose that says something like 'I'm going to go for help'. That was kinda weird.

How did you manage to get to the E4 with levels like that? I mean I didn't spend any extra time grinding anything and all my Pokemon were level 67-69 by the time I got to them.

Yeah i figured I was lower than I should be considering the trainers I was facing. How the hell were your Pokemon level 67??? Im so behind...any place to level up quick before elite four?

I had dudes in the 70s during the E4. Then again I made sure to fight every trainer and fought nearly every wild encounter. Also since you get experience from catching Pokemon, it's hard to miss out.

EXP all is maybe the best addition to the game. Yeah, it makes the main story incredibly easy, but it also solves the "super starter" problem and allows people to really make whatever team they want easily. I kind of wish they upgraded the E4 after you beat them though to give you a real challenge.

Are you able to provide a sort of step-by-step guide as to how you accomplished this?

Catch Dittos from the Friend Safari, they are guaranteed to have 2 or more perfect IVs. If you don't have access to the Friend Safari, trade on GTS for Dittos that are level 30. I found depositing something like a Dratini for a Level 21-30 Ditto worked better than actually finding a trade, since those disappear quickly and may give you an error message. You want level 30 Dittos as those are guaranteed to be from Friend Safari for now, as the Pokemon Village has higher level Dittos and the Pokebank hasn't opened yet to flood the GTS with previous generation Dittos.

What you really want from this is enough Dittos so that between each of them, you have a perfect IV for every stat. Then you just breed a Ditto with the Pokemon you want and pass down the perfect IVs the Ditto has. You take the child with those perfect IVs, then breed it with a new Ditto with different perfect IVs and eventually get a child that has all those IVs. You continue this until you get a child with all perfect IVs for the stats you want.

Basically, it should look something like this:

Parent Pokemon: No Perfect IVs
Ditto: Perfect HP, Speed IVs
Child: Perfect HP, Speed IVs

Parent Pokemon: Perfect Hp, Speed IVs
New Ditto: Perfect Special Attack, Special Defense IVs
Child: Perfect HP, Speed, Special Attack, Special Defense IVs

Parent Pokemon: Perfect HP, Speed, Special Attack, Special Defense IVs
New Ditto: Perfect HP, Defense IVs
Child: Perfect HP, Defense, Speed, Special Attack, Special Defense IVs

This is somewhat simplified, but the basic idea is you passing perfect IVs from the parents down to the children through multiple generations. Since you have enough Dittos to cover all the IVs, and each Ditto has at least 2 (or possibly more) perfect IVs, you will usually be able to pass down one or more of those IVs down to a child for every batch of Pokemon you hatch. As long as you pass down at least one additional IV from the Ditto the the child, you should replace the parent with the new child so you have a better chance at passing down those IVs. (You pass down IVs from both parents, so having more perfect IVs to choose from should increase the odds that the child gets them.) You just have to continue the process until you get perfect IVs in the stats you want. A lot of times, the child won't gain any new perfect IVs and you will have to get a new batch, so this process could take much longer if you get unlucky.

You can quickly check what IVs are perfect for the children and the Dittos from the IV Checker in Kiolude - no need to even use an IV Calculator. The Everstone should be equipped to the Pokemon you want to pass down its nature, and the Destiny Knot should be on the other Pokemon so you will be passing down 5 IVs instead of the normal 3.

Is there any way to get another Shiny Stone? I already used the one on that Skiddo farm to get my Florges.

Max your EV bar in Super Training with one Pokemon, and you unlock Super Secret Training. Beat "An Opening of Lightning Quick Attacks" to get a Shiny Stone. You have to break the original record I believe though.

Yeah I was using Exp Share at the beginning but turned it off midway. Guess I gotta find some places to grind...

That kinda saddens me. :(

Oh well.

So, can anyone tell me how online battling will work? I.E. Do I need to train my pokemon to level 100 to get my maximum stats, or since you're auto-forced to a level, all that matters is your EV/IV count, evolution, and moves?

That'll determine exactly how much effort I put into this breeding stuff.

Diggersby has amazing stats, but shit moves. He's at level 41, does he learn anything good soon?

He learns Earthquake and hammer Arm soon enough. I like him, but I'm waiting til I get a Huge Power (hidden ability) specimen before I train him seriously. Then he'll be legit.

That reminds me, anyone have a Huge Power Bunnelby to trade?

I was breeding some Scyther with Night Slash, Silver Wing (and planing to put Bug Buzz too) then I got the bad surprise to see that after some batches, some moves weren't passing to the eggs anymore. I realized at the time that i forgot that my pokemons were still leveling at the pension so they automatically learned new moves over the breed moves. Now i have to get tons of heart scales to relearn the moves.

To avoid that in the future, is there a way to avoid leveling up or learn other moves while letting the pokemons at the pension ? Or is the only way to use only pokemon high level enough who won't learn any new moves through leveling ?

Also i just read some breeding things about increasing the chance to get shineys with the Masuda method in B/W. Is it still the case in XY ? (FYI Masuda method reduces the chances to get a shiney if both parents are from a different language version to 1/1366 as opposed to 1/8192 normally)

So, where is the best place to grind post E4?

I have a bunch of Pokemon I want to use, and a Sliggoo I wanna level to a Goodra, but I can't seem to find a good spot to grind.
Dunno if this has been answered but the 2 and 3 star restaurants in the main city are great. You get good money from it too.

Shiny Mega Charizard Y. The superior Mega Charizard :)

The chance of a shiny is supposed to be even higher, like 1/10xx I think.

And people in here have been breeding shinies, so it's still good.

Yup, no need to level to 100.

So what was the point of the Scary House? That scene was so pointless and I messed up and didn't tip because the prompt was so sudden.
