That's always how it goes. The standard battles have weak trainers but once you unlock the Super Battles, then you have the challenge

Battle Maison Double Battle wasn't really better for me, especially because Lucario killed everything with Close Combat and Delphox nuked the leftovers

Oh god too scary. Tried to sleep Phantum, didn't affect it...Threw a Dusk ball (Black+Blue, perfect) at shiny Phantump, failed...and then it cursed, dropped to half HP. ABORT, threw repeat ball and caught it.

I really wanted it in a unique color-matching ball but I'm so glad it didn't get to kill itself.

Shiny Collection: Pumpkaboo, Ninjask + Shedinja, Dedenne, Probopass and now shiny Phantump. I can now make an entire team of shinies.

(Blastoise, Delphox, Lucario, Sylveon, Garchamp and Zoroark). Any advice help with my Achilles' ankle?

See if you can teach anyone thunderbolt, stone edge may work too.

Had so many issues with that. I had to Disable Dragon Dance so that I'd stop getting one-shot. Even if I used something effective, he'd just start alternating Dragon Dances and full restores.
