Articuno, Moltres or Zapdos depending on your starter
But,
they just run 12 times before settling down for a battle. That's the mechanic this time, you can't stop them doing it.

I did that too.
You'll need to keep a couple of strong members to bring up the new recruits. I did the same. Exp All works wonderfully in getting the new Pokemon up to speed.
That, and doing lots of wonder trading and then buying rare candy in bulk from the Poke Miles store >_>
to be used after you EV-train of course
My strong members in this case were Chesnaught and a fast Absol.
Korrina U2 El Fuerte'd me.
Halucha took them both down with little problem because he was faster, and Flying Press deals both Flying and Fighting damage. Since Chesnaught is weak to Flying and Absol is weak to Fighting, I was kissing canvas.
Was it from the Lost Hotel or Friend Safari?
It must have been the Lost Hotel, not at the Friend Safari yet...

I haven't seen it yet, but the other Evee shiny variations were a bit disappointing, so I'm glad in my decision. Seriously, it's lucky there wasn't anyone in the cubicle next to me. lol.

Someone on gamefaqs/reddit found a way to increase shinies through fishing,
its pretty much chaining through fishing,
i did a chain of 23 for nothing but then got a chain of 13 and found a shiny clawitzer so i know it works!
not sure if this has been posted yet but everyone should check it out,

I've had good results putting something up and asking for an opposite exclusive. Searching for stuff is hit or miss, yeah. After anything in particular?
If you deposit a version exclusive and ask for its partner, you usually get a bite pretty quickly. I avoid actively searching when I can.

Would be cool if water Friend safaris had water patches for fishing/surfing. Would be easier to get cool shinies that way.
I just trained 12 instead if 6. Did well at keeping me at levels with a decent challenge

Your options are pretty limited. Besides 'zard, there's not many notable fire types beside Fennekin and maybe Houndoom.

Fuck you, Gamefreak. Make me sit through 19 mind-numbingly easy battles in the Battle Maison. Then you throw a Purugly at me that puts everything to sleep with Hypnosis and then 2HKO's them with Shadow Ball.
Get Goodra and slap a flamethrower on it.
Honedge wrecks her team. Just Sword Dance first turn and proceed to sweep with Aerial Ace.
This little punkass just DESTROYED my team with her Halucha.
That's what I get for speeding through the game. Time to grind some.

Hey guys, I got myself into a bit of a pickle. I managed to get all the Gen VI and Gen I starters, but during the process I forgot to make Squirtle and Bulbasaur hold their respective mega stones.
Im already 3 badges in and im not sure if i want to totally reset my game and do the whole process over again. If someone would be willing to help me get their mega stones I would greatly appreciate it. I have a tentative idea o how to work this out, but I would need the help of someone who is just starting out. I'm totally open to other alternative solutions though

You can get their mega stones later plus you can only do one mega per team anyway, so what's the point?

If I'm following this right, Squirtle and Bulbasaur are from another game, you took Charmander in this one? The other stones can be obtained later in the game.
The two stones for the starters you didn't get are sold by a guy in Lumiose City.

Take out zygarde and use Hydreigon.
Pretty sure people who AR pokemons can't use them anywhere due to legality checks. Th only exceptions would be elaborate created pokemons, but that's a small percentage of players.
