This wind in the Lumiose Badlands is honestly one of the dumbest things ever when combined with the dig-dug esque random encounters full of Trapinch's with arena trap.

Aegislash is going to change some dynamics, Greninja has amazing utility and will probably end up heavily used both with and without Protean, there's a lot of great new gimmicks like Klefki and Gourgeist who might seem some use in niche teams and then there's heavy hitters like Noviern who might not set the world on fire but aren't slouches.

There's actually a fair deal of competitively useful Pokemon this gen, even considering how few they added.

It's got more power, but Sludge Bomb has a 30% Poison chance.

And Fire Blast over Flamethrower?
It's got a ton more power, but 85% has me worried.
