Hahaha, this passerby from Brazil just challenged me, using Mewtwo Y, Yveltal, Zygarde, Garchomp, Blaziken and Lucario. It was my first Link Battle, and I didn't know how to access Pokémon in my box, so I had Tyrantrum, Volcarona, Aegislash, Kangaskhan, a Shellder I'm training, and Yveltal (just did that part of the story).
His Mewtwo Y killed my Tyrantrum really quick, but then my Aegislash killed him off with a combination of King's Shield and Shadow Sneak. I proceeded to take out his Blaziken in the same fashion. His Lucario then killed my Aegislash. My Yveltal took out his Lucario with Oblivion Wing, and then Roosted up when he sent his own Yveltal, which kept using Focus Blast. My Yveltal held on and eventually killed him with Oblivion Wing. I was then in the middle of killing his Garchomp with Oblivion Wing (half his HP gone in one hit, restoring my own in the process) when he quit. Seeing as Zygarde is same type and similar stats, it probably would've ended in defeat for him.
I think his name was Guto. If you see him challenge you, expect him to have a team full of legendaries, lol.

Nevermind just read that Male with hidden ability bred with female with regular ability can't have babies with Hidden Abilities.

They can, just that the odds are worse.
edit: Unless I wasn't paying attention and always used females with the ability...

Bah got half way through victory road only to realize I never got the move Strength, now I need to fly about and see where I missed it. :/

I was in Pegasaurus' Friend Safari when I caught two awesome Ditto! One had max HP, ATK, DEF, and SpA IVs. The other had full HP, ATK, and SPD IVs. Talk about good luck!
Unfortunately, I'm trying to get all other region Ditto for Masuda breeding... so I can't use them. >_>

Tried wonder trade for the first time. Traded an Inkay for a Trapinch!
Catch safari ditto, put them online for other safari ditto, get japanese safarii ditto, profit.
Great though it doesn't mention Super Training which may be preferable to some (including me though randomly getting Pokerus from either wonder trading or GTS (I forget) means I have the option to go and grind on wild pokemon).
Great for the IV stuff though, awesome stuff
Catch a Combee and use Sweet Scent as an out-of-battle ability.

Can someone, please, explain how this chain thing works? And how it makes it easier for a Shiny to appear?

so I'm trying this fishing chain thing, and I've done a lot, and I'm just wondering if the time in between fishing and the use of a smoke ball for surefire escape would affect my chances of finding a shiny pokemon?

Oh, I posted what I actually caught in the spoiler thread instead of this one. Shiny Calm Octillery on chain 50, perfect defense IV.
Unless it's 15+ levels below and isn't EV trained you should be fine without smoke ball.

Yeah just verifying that Fletchling into Fletchinder is going to get the result, because at least right now the three I have all have big pecks.
Edit: Apparently they don't. How exactly is one supposed to breed a hidden ability pokemon whose pre-evolution doesn't have that hidden ability at all?
