Having a pokemon with synchronize (abra or ralts, for example) in the first slot of your party increases the chance of meeting a wild pokemon with the same nature as it to 50%. Makes it so much easier. Actually catching the synchronizers with the right natures......uhhh...

Hahaha, this passerby from Brazil just challenged me, using Mewtwo Y, Yveltal, Zygarde, Garchomp, Blaziken and Lucario. It was my first Link Battle, and I didn't know how to access Pokémon in my box, so I had Tyrantrum, Volcarona, Aegislash, Kangaskhan, a Shellder I'm training, and Yveltal (just did that part of the story).

His Mewtwo Y killed my Tyrantrum really quick, but then my Aegislash killed him off with a combination of King's Shield and Shadow Sneak. I proceeded to take out his Blaziken in the same fashion. His Lucario then killed my Aegislash. My Yveltal took out his Lucario with Oblivion Wing, and then Roosted up when he sent his own Yveltal, which kept using Focus Blast. My Yveltal held on and eventually killed him with Oblivion Wing. I was then in the middle of killing his Garchomp with Oblivion Wing (half his HP gone in one hit, restoring my own in the process) when he quit. Seeing as Zygarde is same type and similar stats, it probably would've ended in defeat for him.

I think his name was Guto. If you see him challenge you, expect him to have a team full of legendaries, lol.

I've gotten Clauncher, Remoraid and Skrelp today. Insane!

After getting a Shiny Clawitzer in a 20 chain I went to Parfum Palace to try and get a red Gyarados (too impatient to wait till I can port over the one from SS) and got upto 90 when for some reason I hit the button right after putting the rod in the water. Will try again later I think.

What are some cool pokemon to get by fishing in X? Already got Clawitzer.

How do you guys recommend leveling up weak Pokemon? I decided to bring 3 vets and 3 untrained Pokemon to an Elite 4 battle, everything went well except that the weak Pokemon ended up gaining quite a few levels more than I wanted them to and as a result evolved much later than I anticipated. (Ex: Torchic didn't evolve into Combusken until Lv 23, had to use a heart scale to reteach it Double Kick)

Also I lost a battle and noticed something neat, a Pokemon still will evolve even if you lose a battle / it faints.

Apparently the true way to get a lot of friends is to have Ditto in your Friend Safari, lol. I'm doing my best to add everyone, but I wish I didn't have to go offline to add new friends...

Not free way: Same as free way but using either a lower level bargain power or none at all.

Edit: Apparently they don't. How exactly is one supposed to breed a hidden ability pokemon whose pre-evolution doesn't have that hidden ability at all?

It's ridiculous how much easier Super Training/Core Training has made EV training. I can do in one hour in X and Y what would take seemingly a whole day in Diamond and Pearl, where I EV trained a Rhyperior and Ninjask for the combo where Ninjask uses Substitute and Baton Passes a sub, Swords Dance and Speed Boost to Rhyperior. EV training those two in DP was such a tedious process that I didn't feel inclined to repeat it, even though it worked spectacularly. Now, with X and Y, it's infinitely easier to EV train. It's even FUN, thanks to the Kid Icarus Uprising-style mini-games.

Oh, it's SOOOOOO much better!!! In preparation for Black 2, I was creating a team of six IV bred and EV trained Pokémon... but I wanted to keep them level 1. I had to collect THOUSANDS of those freaking feathers on the Driftvale Bridge!!!!! It took months of off and on collecting...
