There are ways to get a lot of cash quick though in this one. Battle Chateu is great, I'm currently at Marquis rank and with Amulet Coin and O-Power Money Prize Lv. 3 I can net 100k+ in merely few minutes.

Can't speak for everyone, but I don't typically use the legendaries in my final team to beat the Elite 4.

EDIT: I should clarify, I just dont like adding new mons to my team that late in the game. I often plan a team when I initially start the game and stick with it straight through. I then play a rental of the second version with a different team, and sometimes this contains the legendary.

Yep, use them on friends instead of yourself - it's much cheaper thus can be used a lot more leveling it faster.

Talonflame has an insanely strong hidden ability (it gives priority to flying moves).

Coupled with a choice band/life orb he is a very dangerous pokemon.

The legendaries? I guess a lot of people feel it's a bit like cheating to use a legendary against the Elite 4.

I didn't use the X legendary since it was underpowered compared to my normal team when I was at the Elite 4.

I have 2 outstanding Froakies that are the same outside of one having perfect HP and the other Defense. Attack is blank since its timid and everything else at max. If I had to choose, which one should I go with? Breeding any further seems trivial (even for me!)

Using an IV calc it says the HP one has 20-30 Defense and the Defense one has 18-30 HP

Which one is better to have maxed?

- Relative lack of post-game (though not surprising, since it is the first release of a gen)
- No Misdreavus until December, unless it's the rarest pokemon in Friend Safari ever

These are minor disappointments though, overall the games are great.
