iPad 2 and iPad mini is useless, they should kill A5 powered devices.

iPad mini with Retina Display and iPad Air are killer though. Although won't be A7 for iPads a downgrade in terms of graphical perfomance, or at least the same? Where's A7X?

They said it is 2x the graphics of the iPad 4.

Mac and OSX Stuff > iPad Stuff

This conference. Biggest megaton was basically letting everyone who has bought a semi recent mac product to update to maverick for free. Plus the new macbook pros seem to have the spec bump and price drop that make them look more attractive from last years model.

Apple is coasting.. making fat stacks of money.. but coasting.

Everyone is waiting for a revolutionary device again.. and they aren't delivering.

$399.99 for the new Mini? Fuck right off Apple. I'll stick with my Nexus 7 thanks. Also "the biggest leap forward yet! So much new, that we had to give it a new name" *specs bump with nothing new not even the fingerprint sensor*. This is a joke at this point.

Shaving 40% of its weight, increasing the performance, and reducing overall volume is "nothing new" to you?

As opposed to the Nexus 7 update, which added so many incredible new things? What were you expecting?

Please tell me there's more than 1GB of RAM in there. I can't find info on that anywhere.

Unfortunately, Apple never gives that info out. We'll have to wait for someone else to break it down. Curious if the Mini and Air have the same amount. If their specs really are exactly the same, it's Mini for me.

did i say that its really really awesome that mavericks is free and out today ? Thats the biggest fuck you MS could ever get

£50 increase?

Apple you piece of shit.
They brought it up to speed with the full-size iPad (iPad Air omg what a stupid name, Steve would never etc).

It's a mini Pro now.

More than $100 difference for 1.8" of display would be crazies.

It's almost exactly double the price of the nexus 7 now. You can bitch about whatever but mini was seen as a cheaper alternative to regular iPad, that's no longer the case. Mini seems like a huge downgrade for $100 vs. the iPad air. Seems like they're doing it to push people to jump to the higher priced air.
It makes sense when you think about it. Significantly less people would purchase a $499 iPad when they could get a mini with the same display for $329. Cant let those profits escape.

I really cant believe that a 32gb retina mini will cost over $270 more than what I paid for my 32gb 2013 nexus 7 haha.

Also space gray ipad Air 32Gb will be mine. It just sucks that you can't pre-order. I also don't want to stand in line somewhere, so I guess I'll take the waiting time.
