Keep it. No reason to stress out over 2-3 points that aren't even all that critical.

I'm going to make sure it has 31 Speed (and hopefully Sp. Atk) first. The chances are pretty good (I make it a 87.5% probability that Speed is 31, and 75% that both are). It's a shame the IV checker isn't available until postgame; I'll have to confirm another way.

I'd take it. Xerneas's STAB and movepool are biased to special attacks, and Xerneas has good enough defenses that It'll be able to take the first hit from most physical pokemon.

I made a Modest Sylveon with Moonblast, Shadow Ball, Psyshock and Calm Mind. Totally a beast. His only problem is the Pokemon with High Attack and Speed. :/

So here's a tale of woe.

I'd been breeding Ralts, trying to get one with an Adamant nature to make a Gallade for catching. I'd Super Train its attack, level it to 50 as Kirlia, get Hypnosis, Dawn Stone to Gallade and get False Swipe on it. Simple!

Several hours of hatching, loads of Ralts, not a single Adamant one.

Friend says they caught one Ralts earlier and will check the nature. It's Adamant!

We trade and I begin to Super Train this guy in attack. Starts off slow, but soon gets going and eventually I max its attack.

I then start dragging it through high level areas, trying to get it to 50 for Hypnosis. Got to 35 and got bored, so Rare Candied it the rest of the way. Pokemiles are easy to get, after all. Turns out Kirlia learns Hypnosis at 53 now, not 50, but whatever.

Finally, after hours of blood and sweat, I can Dawn Stone this sucker into being a Gallade!

...it was a fucking female Ralts.

I think babies have an 80% chance of inheriting their mother's ability, so you're probably in the clear.

I can't stand breeding for perfect IVs though, so I usually stop short at "Oustanding" with three or four of the most important perfect ones. That's how I got my ideal Protean Froakie (Hasty with perfect Attack, Sp Attack and Speed) withot going crazy in the process ;P

That's what I was gonna do but I figured I might as well go all out. I actually did do that with my Aegislash, only going for HP, Atk, Def, and Sp Def.

Also, DaBoss, I like when you're online because I get a lot of Hatching O-Power level 3's haha. It's helped me a lot.

Honestly don't worry about it. If just reading about is boring, imagine breeding time and time again just to get perfect IVs. 95% of the people you battle or play with online won't bother with it. Friend Safari helps a lot since the Pokemon there are guaranteed some perfect IVs, but don't drive yourself crazy trying to max out every Pokemon with perfect IVs.

I've been resetting for Xerneas during morning lectures at uni. It requires almost no attention, and as an added bonus helps guard against dozing off (I've seen a couple of people already sleep-deprived after less than 2 weeks of term).

I seem to be able to use O-Powers that people use on themselves for some reason. It comes to me with the person's profile icon glowing blue/yellow, so I have to give back. Like you used Hatching Power lvl 2 before I gave you lvl 3, and I was able to use it.

That's supposed to happen. If you want to share an O-Power with more than one person, it's better to use it on yourself and get them to grab it, since using it on yourself is only ~50% more expensive.

Yea, I got one. In my Synchronize group but I don't mind parting with it if you need it. That's one heck of a horror story.

I just give mine to friends then wonder trade the rest. Doing it at the right times will usually net some stuff to save for breeding as others wonder trade off their pokemon that aren't nearly perfect.

Edit: Just got an Adamant Sand Veil Gible and a Jolly Rough Skin Ditto from Wonder Trade. Now to decide which to use.

I've never had that experience to quite that extreme, but I know that feeling. Working on a pokemon only to find out you've mistaken something is terrible. Had this a few times yesterday when I was trying to breed a 5 perfect Lucario.

First, I tried to breed my female Riolu with a Bullet Punch Hitmonchan only to find out that you have to evolve Riolu to breed it. Evolve it, breed it, hatch it and it didn't have Bullet Punch on it. Found out I hit the wrong attack on the Move Reminder and Hitmonchan didn't have Bullet Punch yet.

Man, your story sucks, though. Good luck getting your Adamant Gallade!

Hey guys i was looking for a pokemon i can breed my panchams scrappy ability to its kid, but problem is i dont want him/her to be rash, which seems to be the case every-time i attach the everstone to the male to get the ability to pass through (he is also a rash nature) when i try with the female adding everstone to it, i normally just get a brave non scrappy pancham or a rash scrappy pancham. i seem to be able to pass the hidden ability over just fine with a ditto. so i was asking does anyone have either a brave, adamant or naughty ditto they are will to trade me for a squirtle or pancham with pokerus? (if u dont got either im willing to take a pokemon with synchronize with the same natures i mentioned above.)

It's possible. It's still tough enough to do that your average player isn't going to have a full perfect team. It certainly means that most of the pokemon on even semi-competitve teams are going to have extreme stats. Most of the time with speed, it'll be perfect or zero IV. If Trick Room becomes a problem, though, I imagine people will come up with quick things to slot in and counter it.

Everstone has nothing to do with ability passing as far as I know. It's for passing natures on. With Hidden Abilities, I believe that Male HA+Female Normal Ability will always equal a normal ability. Female's ability gets priority. Male+Ditto will give you a child with the HA 80% of the time. If you want to breed a bunch, I suggest breeding with Ditto until you get a female with the HA and then breed it with a male until you get the nature you want. Male Normal+Female HA=Child HA 80% of the time.

Females pass down ability. Everstone is used to pass down nature.

You have to breed with a Ditto to get a female Pancham with Scrappy, then breed that using an Adamant male holding an Everstone.

EDIT: Confirmed my Xerneas's IVs fully. 31/4/29/31/31/31 Modest. Everything went better than expected.
