Does Pokerus have any effect on super training, or is it just battles in the wild?

So if I have a pokemon with Pokerus, and I battle while equipped with a macho brace, will I get 4x the amount of normal EVs?
Yes. Horde battling is considerably faster with those two things. Trained a Mawile in half the time or better than super training. Also saved my touch screen.
Each horde gain will be either 50 or 60 EV depending.

Interesting. I might start just getting pokemon to around level 30 or so, giving them a macho brace, and getting to it. Are there any moves that Gabite/Garchomp can learn that will hit all Zubat at once? Also, EVs are still recorded on the graph in the Super Training menu even if you acquire them through means of battling, right?

Wonder trade was added precisely for this purpose.
It will give 50/60/70 if you hold the power item for a stat (Power Anklet, Power Weight, and etc.), not Macho Brace. Macho Brace will give you 20/40/60 (my math may be off here lol) EVs per horde battle.

You could try stealing them from wild gravelers and geodudes. I think they have them. Maybe it is the roggenrola line.

I don't know what the hold rate is on Roggenrola but I managed to get an extra one that way when I was just casually catching them for my dex.

You don't even have to go through that trouble.
Get another Pokémon whose stats that you do not care about that knows Surf/multitarget attacks. Keep the Pokémon that you want to EV train in your party.
Turn Exp. Share on and let that Pokémon do its thing while your other Pokémon reaps the rewards.

My question for horde based EV training is; do you have to be in battle for the items to count? As I'm thinking of having a horde slayer (something with sweet scent, all target move, single target attack and false swipe in case of shiny) then put those that need EV training in the back with their hold items (maybe if I get lots of BP multiples of the same stat).
Also with how easily come by money seems to be I need something to blow it on and vitamins seem like a good idea (9 vitamins to 90 in a stat, 3 horde battles to add 150, 8 from ST lv 2 = 248).

What do you guys think is a good moveset? I'm trying to get some good coverage, while still retaining Kings Shield. This is what I got right now:

- Iron Head
- Sacred Sword
I heard he gets another good ghost move, but I haven't come across it yet.

Where do you get Power Items, and why do they give you more than the Macho Brace?

No it doesn't have to be in battle.
I suggest a Pangoro with False Swipe, Surf, and Earthquake. And carry a Combee or something else with Sweet Scent.
You should just do 5 (or 6 if you're too lazy to do ST lol) to max out the EVs of a stat. Don't waste money on vitamins.
Power Items can be bought for 16 BP each at the Battle Maison (post-game). You have to buy a Power Item for each corresponding stat. The Power Weight is for HP. There is one for each stat, and it says in the description what it increases.
The Power Items give +4 EVs for the corresponding stat regardless of the Pokemon that one just beat. So for example, Wingull gives +1 Speed EV, if you have a Power Anklet, that would be another +4 Speed EVs. If you have Pokerus, that would mean it is multiplied by two, so that means +10 Speed EVs. And since you face 5 Wingulls at the same time, that would mean you get +10 Speed EVs for each Wingull totalling up to +50 Speed EVs.

Wow, I'm jealous. I love Camerupt!!Caught my first shiny in RaGNaRoK 2k5's safari, a Camerupt!
It has been years since I caught my last shiny pokemon, and having one of a pokemon I actually like is awesome.
Its ability is Solid Rock, but unfortunately it has a brave nature. Still, its SP.Atck and SP.Dfns IVs are perfect according to the judge. Its speed IV is really bad, but considering its nature I doubt that matters much.
Have you tried the restaurants?
Looks good. The other ghost move is shadow claw through the TM.

When you play online battles, I heard you can unlock more music for the battle than just 1-4. How do you do that?
Also, is anyone getting "The servers are busy. Quitting Game Sync" when they save? I registered for Global Link this morning, but i get that error message whenever I save

So me and my wife bought pokemon x and y.... A couple days ago my wife goes "Huh, the poke center says my pokemon have a virus."
"Oh, I know what that is, that's Pokerus, it's a good thing!". Pretty cool, pretty rare. First time I've seen it "in the wild" and I've been playing every pokemon game since red.
Today she goes "Why is there a sparkle effect every time I send out Amaura? He has a red star by his name too." Again, I've never seen a "wild" shiny pokemon. In the course of just a couple days she managed to get a really nice Shiny and pokerus where as I've never had either I love her but damn her luck is good on games like this.

I guess fortune often favors the unaware lol. Good for her though. The Amaura and Aurorus shiny color is really nice.

No kid, I'll yoink it from her later and take a couple pics. It's a very subdued color for a shiny which is why neither of us noticed right away (she quickly sent it to me and I sent it back for pokedex completion purposes)

Ahh, got it, thanks. Regarding the power items though, I equip it to the pokemon I want to receive the EVs, not the pokemon who's battling?
Also, I'm toying with an Avalugg build, wondering if anyone had some insight. This thing has massive defense, and I want to see if I can put it to use

That means at lvl 100 it will just have 12-13 less hp than a 31 hp Yveltal? 18-19 is lower than I want, but I really want to move on with the game too.
Edit: managed to confirm the 13 points max, I'm keeping it and hoping his defences will compensate.
Edit2: Def isn't perfect, 26-27. The dilemma is back on.

No worries. I just hatched a pretty good Jolly Bagon anyway. I'm gonna rebreed for one with Moxie in the postgame so it didn't have to be perfect.
