Well I finally managed to trade someone for the foreign Honedge I needed. Now I'm popping out babies that are guaranteed to have at least three of the four max IVs that I want. Now to just keep breeding for a shiny.

I'm going to have so many perfect Honedge after this. I just got one last night that had max HP, ATK, DEF, Sp.A, Sp.D, and one IV in Spe, and Brave nature. (+ATK -SPE) If I wasn't going for a shiny, I'd be leaping for joy right now.

I just got my fourth box full, and this could just be the beginning from what I've heard. Fun times.

I've only ever encountered one shiny in my life. A Fearow. Which I caught. I managed to trade old legendaries for a bunch of shinies in Black, though. :P And got a couple from GAFfers. (ilu shiny Serperior and Haxorus.)

Ooh, someone just traded me a Jolly Rhyhorn. I've never thought of using Rhyperior but maybe now I'll look into it now that I have one with a good nature.

edit: hrm its speed is shit, even with Jolly I'm sure it'll be too slow to act first in any situation.

Gonna see if I can build a cool team of Gen 6 'mons

Have a female Fletchling with the hidden ability Gale wings, how do I pass down the ability ? can I do it with a Ditto ?

(Btw if someone has the link to the picture that was a recap of all the breeding tips that was posted earlier in the thread, it would be very useful :p can't find it anymore)

Do I have to go all the way to the Pokemon Village to hunt Dittos or are they also available in the Winding Woods? My Pokedex only shows the village as flashing but I could've sworn I've encountered them in the woods too, especially since the other pokemon in the woods seem to be the same as those in the village.

e: n/m, answered my own question. Only the Pokemon Village flashes in the pokedex but the habitat says "Route 20".

edit 2: well, maybe not. I've spent 15 minutes in the woods and not a single Ditto yet. Can anyone clarify?

Females won't have trouble passing down hidden abilities. It's the males that want dittos to pass them.

Just beaten the game! Now to post-game content.

I tried Maison and Friend Safari. I know Mewtwo is supposedly in the cave near Pokemon Village, but where is Zygarde? I don't want to google it because I still don't know what Zygarde looks like and I plan to keep it that way.

I think it is called Terminus Cave. It is north of the city with the waterfalls.

I have a shiny, EV-trained version of my favourite Pokemon ever with a beneficial nature and two egg moves to boot so that he's competitively viable.

So there! :P

Ok, I swear by Wonder Trade. Got a Squirtle with Pokerus, a Chespin, and now a Froakie with Protean. Not bad for someone who chose Fennekin.

....and now a Japanese Magikarp.

Finally beat the game, was extremely easy ( everyone was lvl 70) but still really fun, still need to catch the legendaries and make a competitive team, is their anymore post game stuff I should know about?

Friend Code is 2723-9622-8932 for friend safari etc, can someone tell me what Pokemon I have please?

If you want to do horrible fetch quests around Lumiose city with a lot of boring text boxes to skip through, you can go see Looker there. You have to do at least one Battle Maison fight and fight Serena one more time to start the quest line.

Does anyone know where you can find the gems that boost an attack's power? Hawlucha really needs a flying gem for both damage and Unburden.

what's the set?

Dragon Dance, Ice Punch, Hi-Jump Kick and Crunch.

I guess I'll have to sacrifice one of them for Fairy coverage now that the little buggers are going to inundate the metagame. Ah well, with a Dragon Dance and/or a Moxie boost, Iron Head should do away with all of them in short order.

Considering not evolving my Spritzee (which happens to be shiny) and having it hold Eviolite for a defensive beast-mode Pokemon. Max out Def and SpD and having it know Calm Mind and Draining Kiss as at least half of a moveset. I am five badges in and using this strategy very effectively in the main game.

Its evolution also looks
hideous
. So would it be worth evolving Spritzee?

Mawile laughs at everything. :P

So does little Klefki.

All of them look awesome.

Why not Payback over Crunch? Scrafty is slow enough to hit last to get the payback boost.

HJK is neutral, and since Mawile is still rather mediocre without Mega Evolving, it'll just be another body on the pile once I get some momentum going.

Why not Payback over Crunch? Scrafty is slow enough to hit last to get the payback boost.

Payback is counterproductive with Dragon Dance, and Crunch's chance to lower the foe's Defense making walling Scrafty harder if they manage to survive a hit.

Could someone on my friend list tell me what pokemon I have in my friend safari? And what is the likelihood of befriending someone with Dittos?!

Luminose City is freaking gigantic. I spent half of my day just dealing with that place! That was fun. Except for the part where I had to go out to a route when I wanted to save.

Feels good to be on top of that maze of a city. I can get around easily now.

Does anyone know if there's anything like the Battle Factory for some challenging PvE post-game content? I'm really enjoying the ride, but it seems really easy; in the third gym battle my best Pokes were 10 levels ahead of the gym leader's.

I used the taxi. Saved the headache of finding places.
