After reading that best account suicides thread earlier today it makes this one pretty embarrassing. Heck I saw better/successful attempts on GameFAQs during the Brawl Dojo days a board where almost no one gets perma banned.

I wonder if we'll see more about Pokemon in Smash Bros this week? Sakurai teased one of the likely Pokeball Pokemon at the end of last week and we haven't seen anymore of it since then.

Honestly it's been a joke since the Brawl Dojo days. I was over the funding something out of nothing logic but have warmed up to it again. EatChild's Naruto confirmed pictures have made me laugh very hard.
 
I just got a Wii U and I Yeah'd Sakurai's latest photo. Miiverse is so cool.

Most of the mechanic of mega evolutions involves using them at the right time, be it to reactivate abilities or to make the most of a basic ability before going mega.

They'll still get their merch, and I'm skeptical it's that big a push for them.
 
What a weird day of posts. I'm glad it's back to at least talking about smash bros mechanics and topics (how mega evolutions would be incorporated).

I actually have grown really find of WFT and from the limited in action game play of her think she'll be really fun, reminds me of sheik with quick hitting attacks and probably not a lot of useful B moves.

Yea, it got old pretty quickly. Especially since Ridley is the least interesting, of the most requested characters.
 
I was just playing donkey kong country returns, I realized - DMthe DK series is kind of under-represented when it comes to items. Wouldn't it be sweet to have rideable animals like the rhino or the frog!? You could ride then around like Wario's motorcycle for a limited amount of time or until you get hit and then knocked off. At that point anyone could steal the item or it runs off the stage. What do you think?

Didn't it get shafted in ATs too? I'd love Rambi as an AT or item.

Speaking of sheik, I recently had my brother home from college and we played a few matches. And for the first time I actually gave sheik a legitimate try. Her speed and "in your face-ness" we're really fun especially compared to my usual marth and climber game (I am actually really bad at the climbers now from being so out of practice...). Her F-smash isn't bad if you space right or use it to punish people trying to land while dodging(edit: by isn't bad I mean manageable). She can't kill a fly though and you have to keep her upsmash fresh until like 140-170% but she can ledge hog pretty well with fast falling down airs.

Yeah, I never really played sheik too much in melee, and started using her fairly recently in brawl and project m. I love her and can't believe it took me so long to play as her. I agree, I'm a really aggressive player so I love how quick she is. You really have to take advantage of her tilt attacks more and play an aerial type of game with her. Really hoping my impressions of WFT are correct and she had a similar style of gameplay. Megaman seemed like he too could have an aggressive play style with all his different attacks giving him a variety of ways to keep the pressure on.

Oh right, her tilts were very good. The stick on my controller was very sensitive so I found it hard to do them. Actually for whatever reason it was just the forward tilt that was a pain while the Up tilt worked fine.
 
I'm probably going to get stones thrown at me for saying so, but I'm kinda looking forward to putting GCN controller Smash behind me. My Wavebirds have been on their last legs for years, but peer pressure and other factors always kept me attached to using them in Brawl. With it no longer an option, it's going to be nice starting fresh with a new controller layout along with everyone else, for the first time in over a decade. Heck, I might even pick up a Pro Controller.

There's always the WiiU CG controller adapter. Dunno if it works with wavebirds though.

I just ordered one, though in the end the pro controller will probably win out.
