Barnacles I would assume, based of the names and similar appearance to them.
Boss Dogie and other gaffers have posted it, some kind of (edible) barnacle from Japan that resemble hand (hence Barbaracle head). Honestly? It is quite neat if it for the feet.

Yeah, I know about the Ability Capsule, but it seems like such a massive grind. I'll just breed another Scyther has I have several of them with 5 IVs now anyway.

you have to talk to Prof Syc for a train ticket to Kiloude City. The friend safari building is in the back to the east

Did he use an attack that just happens to get to go first? Or maybe a Quick Claw?
No Quick Claw since there was no animation. Grass Knot, so not a priority attack.

Calling it a mess is taking things farrather, there's a lot of build-up followed by smoothly-sudden drop-off, same problem with R/S/E's gym battle theme.

Yeah I know but he went twice first which I thought were some shenanigans. Then I remembered the second attack was Shadow Sneak so he was simply cleverer than me
I'm getting annoyed though since my freshly bred and trained Greninja is proving useless so far in Rated Battles
Some Pokemon are just useless against certain teams. My first battle with Azumarill he did absolutely nothing. But other times he'll OHKO everything with Play Rough.
It's a neatly designed ugly Pokemon much like Garbodor, so nothing wrong.
I'm still far away from judging the game as a whole, very far away, but so far the complaints I have with the game are:
1. There's a bit too much hand holding like a lot of recent Nintendo games. I wish there was a toggle or something.
2. Only story mode Trainers show themselves throwing their Pokeball or their losing animation or just them in battle period. For any Trainer that isn't a story mode one, it only shows their artwork which only has one emotion as there aren't multiple pieces of art.
3. The way the artstyle is, it doesn't look all too grand on the 3DS XL. It gets even more pixelated at times due to this.
4. The music could be a bit less orchestra.
5. Some battle backgrounds look really plain and dull.
I can see this game appealing to people, but for someone who's played Colosseum and XD, this isn't the freshest experience for me. I am happy I just got Bulbasaur, though.

I think the bigest problem I have and have always had with Pokemon is I never know what skill I should keep. I usually spend a good 5 min comparing them. Even then I'm not sure what I should keep.
That haunted house is like the biggest disappointment ever. I thought I'd have to go through an awesome dungeon-mansion

Route 14...I decided to try swamp bike (Earthbound reference), game dropped me off the bike fairly quickly.
(story spoilers for that bit of the game)

Just hatched an Adamant Axew with IVs of 31/31/24/31/31/31, EV trained it in about ten minutes with Horde Battles, now I'm raising it against the Audino trainers in the Battle Chateau and just swimming in Exp with a Lucky Egg, Exp O-Power and the Amie bonus against the Audino trainers in the Battle Chateau. Unfortunately it has Rivalry as its ability, but there's even an item to fix that! God I love this game so much.
