I don't think Galvantula is as vulnerable as you think it is
who's the one underestimating things now
You are. First you suggest Sticky Web hinders Malamar. It doesn't -- it boosts him. I'm just pointing out that your claim Galvantula will clean shop with Malamar is moot once you switch out. If Galvantula is a free switch on Malamar, then any number of other things are a free switch on Galvantula. At some point, Malamar can be sent out at the start of a turn against Aegislash, endure a hit from a frail but strong Blade Forme (provided Aegislash is faster -- even less likely with Malamar boosting off Sticky Web), and either SE STAB Night Slash Blade Forme or power up +2 Attack off of King's Shield Shield Forme. If Aegislash stays in default Shield Forme, well, it's not able to do much in that form other than King's Shield. Malamar blocks its most important strategy and has quick healing solutions to fall back on if needed. He's the most solid answer to Aegislash yet.

Conspiracy time: I think the Game Sync too busy after you Game Synced recently is just the game BS'ing to let the traffic be clear for anyone else to Game Sync.

That's not much of a conspiracy, it pretty clearly denies you so that you don't clog up the server constantly. It seems to reset around every 24 hours, I've basically been able to game sync once every day.

Swagger

Guys, I wasn't even doing Masuda, but I managed to hatch a shiny Gible with 31/31/x/31/31/31, I might just cut my losses here. How negligible is the stat increase to defense like this? I don't know the exact value

Probably nominal. As long as it's >10, RNG plays a bigger role in damage calcs.

That's what I think as well. I've noticed that the first time I sync in a session it normally works (not always), but if I try to sync later in that session it NEVER works

So guys, got a Zorua in Wonder trade. A friend of mine told me it should not be that common. Is this thng good? Looks good and kind of cool really

Breeding starters for IVs takes FOREVER with safari Dittos/never hatching females :( finally got the Charmander I wanted (and happened to breed a perfect one with all 31 IVs) after getting a female with 3 IVs and speeding up the process. Stupid male/female ratio.

I've synced earlier today twice. And synced a 3rd time about 30 min ago.

That's pretty impressive. Do you use the auto-sync while saving? I was curious if that has any bearing on it. I use it and I've only been able to game sync once a day every day, I average about 8-10 hours of play per day.

If you want to give up a coverage move just to play a slow war of attrition with Malamar via Swagger, I think that speaks to the threat he poses right there.

"slow war of attrition?"
BS, a lot of things are capable of OHKOing and constantly switching it out every time is gonna end really badly for you if you try it

Or perhaps that's the turn I Chesto-Rest, or maybe I just take a chance and Night Slash hits instead of confused status. It's true the drop in Attack would hurt, but again, Swagger is a wasted move slot on Aegislash. It's better to not have Aegislash deal with Malamar and leave that to someone else, which was the original point at the start of this whole conversation.

Yea, I have that enabled, that's how I sync all of the time.

you keep mentioning Aegislash
I don't know why, it sucks against everything else

what's next, you're gonna tell me Quagsire is a champ for walling Kyogre?

Although project delta isn't quite finished yet, here is my planned set:
Delta (Sigilyph)
Ability: Magic Guard
Modest
31/x/31/31/31/31
128 HP/ 124 Sp Atk / 252 Spe
Item: Life Orb
Dazzling Gleam (gives invaluable dark and dragon coverage)
Psychic
Air Slash
Light Screen

Because the conversation was about him being a Aegislash check, silly goose. :)

Against non-Ghost-types, you can run a Rest/Sleep Talk set spamming Night Slash and Superpower (+1 Attack/+1 Defense every hit, thanks to Contrary) while endlessly restoring your HP. Sleep Talk isn't totally accurate, obviously, but he has nice bulk with HP investment and strong Attack with Attack investment. Also frees up your hold item slot for something to increase longevity while Sleep protects him from status.

might have worked in gen 5 once you cleared bug types, but now the new fairy overlords don't care anymore

Then I'll kill the Fairies with my own Aegislash first.

YOU CANNOT DESTROY US

I think there's only going to be 3-4 fairies in OU. The stat totals for most of them aren't that good considering there's quite a few fire and steel pokemon to check their typing.
