Pokémon XY |OT2| Would you like to leave a tip?

Still in a team crisis mode and looking for answers (I really want to get to the battling part of the game already):

Jolteon
Gardevoir
Garchomp
Blaziken
Greninja
Ferrothorn

Looking at those six, what kind of synergy would you say they have? What should I build for between them?

Another question, would the battlers in here agree that Protean Greninja's Dark typing is more for safe switch ins on things like Ghosts/Psychics than for offensive purposes?
 
Man, there sure are a lot of moves that hit adjacent allies as well as opponents in double/triple battles. This is going to be tricky.

I think there's only going to be 3-4 fairies in OU. The stat totals for most of them aren't that good considering there's quite a few fire and steel pokemon to check their typing.

It sure doesn't help that 3 of the notable ones fit the niche of special wall and can't take a physical hit worth beans.

I'm actually worried for Togekiss now that she's got a new, notable check in steel types.

Ehh Flamethrower or fireblast are still options.
 
So, I really want a fairy type and a mega-evo on my team, mainly just because they're new and they're fun, and I think Mawile is going to fill that niche. I've been looking it over on serebii and I really like what I'm seeing. Also it's just a cool pokemon.

Anybody have any ideas for move-sets, natures, etc.?

Immunity to Dragon moves and flat out -4 resistance to fighting is the tits though.
 
Anyone know how Seismic Toss works in relation to Parental Bond (Mega Kangaskhan)? Does it deliver the guaranteed 100 at lv. 100 on both hits for 200 damage total, or does the second hit reduce that to 150 (100 + 50)? With other moves, Parental Bond preserves default power on the first hit and drops to half-power on the second hit, but I wonder how that translates to Seismic Toss...
 
hey anyone got an evee with the hidden ability willing to trade a pokemon with pokerus, or something u need. also willing to give back after i breed the ability over. Help me GAF!

Several. Pokemon in swarms have a chance to have hidden abilities, as do Pokemon in Friend Safari.

When Pokemon Bank opens up, breeding for old hidden abilities will be easier as males can now pass them as well.

Okay, so one of my breeding parents has all perfect but Speed and the other has all perfect but HP. Since Destiny Knot only covers for 5, is it possible for a perfect child from the two?
 
Got a couple of questions GAF!

So I've finally bred a Brave Marvel Scale Dratini with 5 IV's... But it's missing the one stat I got the nature for. ;_; I need Atk and he's got everything else... Should I just keep on breeding the two parents to get another 5 IV and hope it's got the right stat? Or should I use him and breed with a Ditto with the Atk stat with Destiny Knot?

Also, I'm breeding a 4 perfect IV Dratini with a 2 perfect IV Ditto at the moment.. It's how I just got that 5 perfect one. I have a 4 perfect IV Ditto in my box. I was wondering if using the Ditto with more IV's would be beneficial or not... Like, would breeding with more IV's across both parents hinder or improve my chances?

Improve. If both parents have perfect in one stat, then if it chooses to give the new poke that stat, it's guaranteed to be perfect.

EDIT: Of course this may mess up the nature and ability if the pokes don't already have those correct.
 
Anyone got a bulbasaur with Chlorophyll?
