Man, Delphox is so awesome. I don't have one, I haven't used one, but I think his design/concept is top-notch, and I'm saddened the early reactions gave him shit. He's a friggin' pyromancer -- as a Dark Souls fan, I love this!Haven't beat the game since Red! Woohoo.
I also think Chesnaught looks great -- I always thought he was decent, but it took a while for his design to fully gel in my mind. I really dig it now. And I adore Greninja. I've loved him from the start.
The new starters are among the best, IMO. I think they really benefit from the "warrior - mage - thief" motif. Makes them a thematically coherent trio rather than the usual random assemblage of animals.
I wasn't sure they were available in friend safari. I'll keep an eye out, thanks!

I was one of them, but I think I've come around. Initial shots looked pretty bad, but seeing him animated (especially when he uses the wand) make him seem pretty cool. I like his stats pretty well too.

For me, it's Laverre City, easily. It's a small town, but the swampy color scheme, contrasted with the bright mushrooms and fairy tale-style houses, creates such a cool look and atmosphere. Also has the best music, both the town and nearby Pokeball Factory. I really like the swampy route leading there, with the wild Skorupi, Karrablast, Shelmets, Caravines, Haunters and Goomy. One hell of a ecosystem! And of course, Laverre City has quite possibly the coolest gym, with the ornate dollhouse inside the massive tree. Great stuff all-around.

It's either that or Snowbelle. I think the music in Snowbelle is one step above Laverre, but I like Laverre's fairy tale style more.

Anistar City or Couriway Town
Anistar has that huge pink stone thing which looks really cool. It has a nice light snow. It ia also the home to the greatest gym of all time.

Btw, DaBoss, that Protean Froakie you generously provided is now a killer Greninja and is SO MUCH FUN, it's almost absurd how joyous it is to use that thing and tap-dance around the other team, baiting Thunderbolts into Ground-type Greninja via Spikes or Brick Breaks into Ghost-type Greninja via Shadow Sneak. And the way Greninja strikes a pose when he scorches enemies with Scald or blasts fools with Ice Beam... SO GOOD. Seriously, can't thank you enough for what may be one of my favorite Pokemon to use ever!
I go to the Battle facility in Luminose since it auto levels them.

Depends, really. For eg: greninja; fuck his defenses, there's no hope, get in quick hit em hard and try & get out before you get 1shotted.

My issue with Delphox was just that he had ridiculous ear hair. Like, it was just ludicrous. I still wish it was toned down a bit, but I do like the design overall.
Holy shit, didn't even notice the trio thing going on.

If you really like the shiny, go for it. In using my Shiny Honedge, even though it's DEF is kind of terrible. It's all about having fun. (Although shiny Garchomp isn't very noticeable...)
