Need one asap!

Found another one with 5 31 IVs but with Torrent. Ok, I guess I could give this to someone along with a Female Protean Froakie with 4 31 IVs...Perfect breeding couple. First one to quote will receive them.

Did I win them? I can give you a 3IV Speed Torchic. 3024 5265-5661

Just noticed my eevee didn't have it's hidden ability when I evolved it to espeon... ._.

Good thing jolteon is an option.

If you really like the shiny, go for it. In using my Shiny Honedge, even though it's DEF is kind of terrible. It's all about having fun. (Although shiny Garchomp isn't very noticeable...)

Yeah, I mean I'm not sure the exact number of the Def. IV. The Gible is at lvl 12 right now. Does anyone know when the next best level to put the stats into the calculator would be? If it's less than 20 (maybe 25), I might box it(after seeing what Shiny Mega Chomp looks like), although I'm not sure how much more defense 31 IV is than 20 IV. (Speaking of MegaChomp, where do I get Garchompite?)

Are you Postgame?
You can head to the Battle Institute(save in another town before going in) where they will upscale your pokemon to 50.

Guys, I have like 10+ Adamant Charmanders with Dragon Dance and Outrage. They have 3 varying perfect IVs. Anyone wants one? I don't need anything in return but some HA Pokemon for breeding later would be good o:

The difference is the number itself. 20 IVs is a total of 11 stat points behind one with perfect IVs, once the Pokémon becomes level 100.

And Garchompite is in Victory Road behind a Rock Smashable wall.

Well Towel, it doesn't look like this is going to work out. So many connection errors... =/

I've checked my internet connection, so I think it might be on your end.

EDIT: It worked! Thanks man.

So I was wondering if anyone could help me out with building a team for online play. I want to have fun with it, but I also want to learn about tactics and strategies and movesets that are powerful together... Is there a guide or a primer somewhere? I've tried googling and looking on smogon but it's all quite overwhelming.

Rough draft of my team finally done. What do you guys think?

Ferrothorn (Lead) @ Big Root – Relaxed, 252 HP/48 Def/208 SpD
Stealth Rock
Leech Seed
Power Whip
Thunder Wave

Gengar @ Gengarite – Modest, 252 SpA/252 Spd/4 HP
Shadow Ball
Destiny Bond
Thunderbolt
Sludge Bomb

Tyranitar (Jolly) @ Life Orb –
Dragon Dance
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Crunch

Starmie – Offensive Rapid Spin
Surf
Psyshock
Ice Beam
Rapid Spin

Aegislash @ Leftovers – 252 Atk/252 HP
Kings Shield
Shadow Sneak
Iron Head
Swords Dance

Azumarill @ Splash Plate – Adamant, 168 HP/252 Atk/4 Def/84 Spe
Aqua Jet
Play Rough
Waterfall
Belly Drum

I was debating using Klefki or Espeon for leads because of their abilities, but decided to just go Ferrothorn for the Stealth Rock.

I'd really appreciate some input. :D

Finally got a Modest Xerneas!

I didn't even play yesterday, just reset 10 times. 2nd try this morning.

Xerneas - #716 (Modest)
HP: 20 - 21
Att: 28 - 31
Def: 30 - 31
SpA: 30 - 31
SpD: 8 - 9
Speed: 20 - 21

SpD kind of sucks, don't really care anymore though. Just wanted a nice one. :)

Toxic becomes just regular poison if you switch out and back, right?

I want an item that disperses toxic in the event of fainting that stops the opponent from switching. Is that op? Not really, it's like that song that makes you both faint.

Here's my Pokémon team that carried me through;

Can I say that Stunfisk was amazing.

Nope, it stays Toxic. It just resets the 'counter' when they switch out.

For Aegislash, is there any particular reason for iron head over sacred sword? It's a little harder to take out fairies, but you'd have an easier time dealing with

On Azumarrill, why splash plate over choice band? Or even the new Belly Drum set?

My Aegislash has King's Shield | Iron Head | Shadow Sneak | Sacred Sword. Works wonderfully.

I know it has been asked before, but in a thread this big it would be hard to find, what is the best method for grinding exp post game?

Not sure i want to jump into the world of breeding just now, but i do enjoy evolving Pokemon.

Man, I can't beat anyone online. Everyone is an expert and has super crazy strategies. I even lost to a dude who's pokemon were all 10 levels lower than me because he was so good with strategy. Ugh.

I suppose he has the stats to hit hard even unboosted. But he's so vulnerable after attacking, I'd be way more comfortable swords dancing first, even with steel's pretty good stab neutral coverage. (Sounds like you've tested it though, and I haven't, so you're probably right).

So I'm having the worst time getting eggs. once you pick up the egg from the guy it gets RNG'd, right? So if i save, hatch, check, and then soft reset if the hatch sucks, it'll give me a different result?

Also, thanks Kibou for the Charmander, it's gonna make breeding for Charizard so much faster.

Oh yeah, forgot about Belly Drum. Edited. I'll use that. And I had just picked Iron Head for the STAB, really. Though I guess if I'm running Swords Dance anyway the extra coverage would be better?

Wooo! After about 150 eggs I get my first shiny:

Still haven't gotten one with the IVs I want though :( 31/31/31/31/31/30
Congrats man!!! It took me over 200 eggs to get my shiny Honedge.

Are those it's stats? Mine got the short end of the stick with less than 6 DEF IVs. It has perfect HP, ATK, and SpD though, so I'm happy.

I need to start project Aegis (really just Bulletproof Chesnaught), and I have a feeling it will be far more painful than project delta.
