Depending on where you work, that is entirely possible.

I say if you are doing it right, you should easily have a 6 figure salary before you are 30.

Depends on what you want to do. If you're making websites, probably not. If you want to get into scientific computing, video games or something of that nature, you at least need some good mathematical understanding.

I tend to agree with this, I personally dislike having to work with brogrammers (as a designer). They tend to be overly arrogant and dismissive, without having any deep knowledge or skills to back it up. Also tend to be lazy about coding standards and cause more bugs and sloppy implementation than they are worth.

I'll take the boring older married types any day. They know how to get things done without a bunch of ego.
