Just make sure you infect a Pokémon that you don't plan to use or train and put in the PC and you will have it forever.

I'll probably move on to Togekiss then, but god I hate having to evolve Togepi to have them breed. Especially as I'm switching them every now and then

If you're just going to be breeding with Dittos then Male will be fine.
For Zubat you can get a Pokemon to use Substitute and if an attack from a Zubat goes through that means it has Infiltrator.

Yeah, I know it's unusual, but I really don't like that type of Pokemon. It's probably a mistake, but for now I'm gonna try this team. I can always redo it later on by adding more members.
