So when shiny hunting in the friend safari do you do anything in particular, or just run around until you find one?

I don't know, I actually like Flame Body on Volcarona. With enough defense/hp investment you can almost run bulky set and while it can be really risky to get her in there, Quiver Dance and Roost make her pretty hard to take down all while giving Flame Body a decent chance to kick in.

Tinted Lens would be crazy good on her though, maybe to the point of being broken.

Ehh that's just making the best of an average ability. Compound Eyes will be you can use Hurricane comfortaly, Tinted Lens it's just an awesome ability for it.
 
Is there any way to set your GTS message back to blank? Just found out that my last trade was falsely advertised as having Pokerus even though I thought I had deleted it.
 
Alright, so I'm starting to get my Breeding workflow down, and want to know if it's all set up correctly. IMO 4 perfect IVs is more than enough for my tastes, so keep that in mind. Going to start off with the Friend Safari available Pokes:

1: Using desired Synchronize, find Male and Female (Hidden Ability) of desired Pkmn, with 4 desired EVs between the two
2: EverStone/Destiny Knot breed until 4 IVs turn up on resultant Pokemon with HA.
But, if I ended up not finding a Synchronized Pokemon with the 2 IVs that I wanted, would I then be able to use Ditto to pass down Nature while feasibly getting the 4 IV's that I wanted earlier? Can a Hidden Ability Ditto be used to breed in Hidden Abilities (with a higher than 10% chance, I mean)?

The chance is around 60% for a male with HA and a ditto now. I believe it was not posible in Black and White 2. Also, if you cant find the desired IVs, you will need to chain breed (as in, get as close as possible, and then use that offspring as a parent to get closer to your target). We had a junior gaffer breed some HA dratinit by using ditto a few pages ago (he gave me one)

Noob breeder here, but I just got my first 4IV bulbasaur by using 2 ivysaur from the safari. Problem is that the Special attack is not good, so i need to breed a lot more to get a 5iv one (or a 4 iv one with good special att)

Edit: To get hidden abilities with a ditto, you need a male ha mon and the ditto. Female and ditto wont work

I feel like there's a reason both of those abilities have a very small distribution and a lot of the things they're on tend to... suck. Volcarona's hardly a bad Pokemon as it is, and while super accurate Hurricanes and Fire Blasts could be nice, she already has options with more accuracy and Bug Buzz works pretty damn well as an accurate STAB coverage move as it is.
 
Did this game get rid of the ability to play against the same trainers outside the big city? In Pearl you could use a device to make anyone fight you.
I mean seriously what were they thinking? Makes grinding a chore even with EXP share when post level 50.

Also how do you change your avatars face. Some people online have the face of one of the Elite 4 characters or your friends.

I have both Adamant Tyrunts and Hasty Protean Frokies if you'd like those. I have to check IVs, but I definitely have 4 IV Frokies and with HP Steel (you wanted that, right?)

Buy the Rare Candy, you can easily farm a bunch of Heart Scales by fishing Luvdisc.

I will definitely take an HP Steel 4 IV Froakie though.

The 3-star restaurant in Lumiose (Le Wow) has Lv 60+ Pokemon. In addition, if you use an amulet coin or prize money power you should make back what you spend there.

To change your face go to Profile in PSS and touch your name.
 
Finally got myself a perfect Hawlucha. 31/31/31/xx/31/31. Excellent. Now I will discover an Egg Move that I could have gotten and have to start breeding again.

Did the evolution method for Lickitung change...? He's known Rollout for like 4 levels now and nothing is happening.

How is everyone EV training and or resetting EV's? Seems like hoards are the best and just use a reset bag to count everything down to zero? Also there is no chance for me to go over EV's In a single stat is there?

Lol shit, just realized why Smogon says to stick Hidden Power on Lilligants. They only learn one non-Grass move lol (Dream Eater). Might as well start breeding for Hidden Powers too.

If you do I wouldn't mind getting that egg move less perfect Hawluncha ;)!
I cant wait till I get decent enough IVs and start assembling a diverse team with unique abilities. I will likely be use a doublade with evilite.
 
Is the masuda method only active by using Japanese/USA combinations of pokemon? Or is it active by using any foreign country/USA combinations?

If I could build a competitive team around cute Pokemon, I'd be pretty happy. I'm planning on using Lilligant, Starmie, Slowbro, Vaporeon, Togekiss, and Mawile. RIP me.

Anyway I am just trying to think of something to do post game since I did pretty much everything but the Looker quest.

Depends which Mega Pokémon you're talking about, for example both Mega Charizard are no better than normal Charizard.
