This game is trolling me.

All I need is a Timid male Larvesta to breed with my 5 IV female of the wrong nature. All the males I've caught have been either the wrong nature or had a perfect Attack IV that I don't want. Used hundreds of ultra balls so far because their catch rate is so fucking horrid. I never wanna see a wild one of these again after today lol.

Wouldn't a repeat ball work better?
 
Any tips for my team? Different attacks, items or people that should be taken out entirely?

That would be really good haha. Does it have perfect IVs in anything but Attack? That way I can at least get a timid male and then go with that.

Edit: now I can't even encounter any Larvesta haha. Last 20 or so battles have been nonstop Ponyta and Fletchinder :x

Thanks again man, I'll get it back to you in a bit. That Honedge I sent you has all 6 perfect IVs, I didn't want the speed one on there so you can keep it and use it or trade it or whatever haha.

So is IV breeding really needed for competitive battling? It seems like it was made a lot less tedious this generation but I don't have a safari to catch ditto in.

Does anyone have one? Note that the person does not need to KEEP me on their friend list, they just need to see me online once, afterwards you can delete me, and I'd still be able to continue to access the Ditto friend safari
 
Hey guys I have a level one Caterpie gonna put it up on GTS for a legendary like all the cool people are doing.

Really wish filtering out special pokemon did the legendaries. :/ Everything for Articunos.

Or Pokemon who aren't out yet.

Or searching by what you'll be willing to trade.

But that'd make too much sense.
 
I've finally hatched my third 'perfect' Pokémon for my team! Now to move on to my Phantump/Trevenant, and try to figure out what I want in my other two slots. Lol.
 
Just got a shiny Bulbasaur after a whopping 4 eggs using the Masuda Method. Was pleasantly surprised as I was just going to grab a box full to send off on Wonder Trade. Pleasant surprise!

I didn't even realize he had 5 Pokemon until after it was all done. I should probably pay more attention.

My Starmie had Natural Cure. Probably should've switched it out, but if I sent it back out later, it would've died to quick attack lol.
 
Somehow, I was fine breeding for IVs, but breeding for the right Hidden Power + IVs is really frustrating. Destiny Knot actually makes it harder to get varied Hidden Powers. Maybe I should just stick with Steel or Ghost for my Lilligant...
