Ugh, took two boxes, but I finally have a froakie with 5 ivs. Surrounded by his 3 iv cousins (I seriously had shitty luck with those).

I'll be sorting through the rest of the protean trying to get another 1-2 'perfects', but I have about 10-15 2/3 perfect IV (most with HP, SpD, and/or speed) timid Protean froakies, just let me know if you want one in a pm, this thread moves too fast, and I'm going to sleep soon.

It'd be cool to get any other 2/3 iv to get a jump start on breeding, but I'm not particularly picky if you don't have anything crazy.

Can you enlighten us on your A-Tier Flareon strat? I do enjoy when people use unconventional Pokemon. It's so annoying to see Blazikens and Garchomps in every battle.

... *goes back to training Haxorus*
It all amounts to me finding the right opportunity to pull off a Flame Charge.
If I can Paralyze a Pokemon with Pikachu, I try to switch in Flareon and pull off 1 or 2, then go to town.

1 can handle a lot of Pokemon though if he has Reflect/Light Screen up.
Quick Attack still does a ton of damage.

This is my full team right now, so you have a better understanding of what I might try to do.
Pikachu with Light Ball

Timid (252 Speed/Sp.Atk, 4 Def)
-Thunderbolt
-Nuzzle
-Grass Knot
-Hidden Power Dark

Flareon with Toxic Orb
Guts

-Flare Blitz
-Facade
-Flame Charge
-Quick Attack

Carbink with Light Clay

-Light Screen
-Moonblast
-Stealth Rock

Goodra with Assault Vest
Sap Sipper
Modest (252 Sp.Atk/HP, 4 Def)
-Draco Meteor
-Muddy Water
-Flamethrower
-Sludge Bomb

Mawile with Mawilite

Can someone please explain how to max style for the hatching o power.

I've bought 150 premier balls one at a time and worked at the hotel three full times, i can access the boutique and i get the discount when using taxis. I've also had the newspaper lady show me around every single street/part of Luminose city yet i still can't get the bonding guy to show up.

I unfortunately bought the mega stones at $50 000 so i can't use that to check but is there any other method to check?

You should be maxed already. Do you have all of the other (16) O Powers?

Did you buy the Premier Balls separately?
Not sure how that process works myself, but that's what everyone else said they did.

Also, get a Lumiose Galette, get a Loto Ticket, get a tour from Alexa (next to the Loto), fight in the restaurants, and so on.

Do you have all the other O-powers? There are 17 with Hatching, if you have less than 16, that could be it.

I only had to buy ~70 premier balls one at a time to get to max style.

Finally have my perfect IV Larvesta :D that was the longest it's taken me to breed one yet, but with that my team is complete. Now to train these guys, get their move sets worked out and test them out.

I have a bunch of 4 IV timid Larvestas (all flame body, mix of females and males - tell me which you want) if anyone wants one. I'm gonna go take a break for a bit but PM me and I'll get to you in a few hours.

I also have a female with 5 IVs but the wrong nature.

I have absolutely no idea where I'm going with this team, but so far I've trained up a Scizor, a Greninja and an Espeon. They're just designs that I like.

I like to call it Team Dysfunctional right now.

Is Adamant or Jolly better for Scolipede? Its base speed is already high and I'll be EV training it in speed. And of course it has Speed Boost. So I figure it would benefit more from a higher attack stat?

I plan on teaching it:

Megahorn
Earthquake
Swords Dance
and Baton Pass

Okay so I am on my 20th Mewtwo or so (and I'm saving my Master Ball for my legendary bird!) and I think I found a winner. Not perfect but what do you guys and gals think?

Nature: Naughty
IVs 31/28/31/31/31/31

I am pretty sure I calculated that right.

(full stats are 195/152/242/136/208)

HALP GAF I WANNA SAVE MY GAME AND MOVE ON! lol

edited to be correct? Not really sure how to read the serbii calculator.

It will probably outspeed anything thanks to speed boosts, and because you won't be using substitute it can afford not being the fastest pokemon on the first turn. Still, if you plan on using this as a sweeper instead of a support pokemon maybe it will be better to replace Baton Pass by another move, maybe the above mentioned substitute so you can safely perform a sword dance or two.

I hate to say this, but that nature ruins what could have been a perfect Mewtwo. Also, do you plan on using base Mewtwo or a Mega-Mewtwo in the future? Think about that before deciding on the nature.

There should be 3 31s, no?

I don't think I've seen a single electric type pokemon during my playthrough lol. My team's pretty terrible and I've grown to dislike some of my starting pokemon like dualblade, pangoro and greninja. exp share makes it so that I only use one pokemon that is the hardest to train (a dragon) and I never even see the rest in action :D

exp share is great for end game, but man they should've left it exactly there after you beat the game.

I thought he might be able to be both a support and a sweeper with that set if I equip Focus Sash. I considered Protect as well. I guess I'll decide on the 4th move later.

Alrighty then.

Got a Whirlipede with perfect IVs in HP and SpDef and an Adamant Ditto with perfect Attack and Speed. Breeding time. :D

I am probably going to use Mega X Mewtwo so I thought it might work!

Damn now I am torn.

I think I fixed the IV numbers? Honestly I am not sure how to read this serbii calculator!

Been playing this game on-again, off-again. My team is so Red-esque, I have 2 badges

Pikachu (gonna hunt for a Light Ball)

Eevee (planning on evolving into Sylveon)

Snorlax

Greninja

Blaziken

Venusaur

Also will probably use Lucario and Lapras and rotate the team around.

Man, I just found a shiny Eevee with outstanding IV's. I'm seriously considering hiding it in the dark vaults of my box untill we get a ghost or dragon evolution. I feel like a bad person.

Gts is the fucking worst
So much trolling and unreasonable requests
Everyone wants a yveltal for anything
I prob have a better chance lf getting a reasonable offer with wonder trade

Tell me about it.
I was looking for a Yveltal on GTS and only found people looking for Mew, Mylotic and sometimes Xerneas(wich i dont feel like trading away).
Why would anyone look for Pokemon that are not going to exist until December?

Milotic or feebas can be found in the Friend safari iirc. Not too sure about that though.

Still, it's a legendary you're looking for. You're going to get unreasonable requests for it. :P

The dumb stuff is more like asking for xerneas when offering up a swinub.

I am probably going to use Mega X Mewtwo so I thought it might work!

Damn now I am torn.

Problem with Mega Mewtwo X is how different it is from Mega Mewtwo Y, which is just a faster and stronger Mewtwo with a small drop in defense in exchange for higher spacial defense. It also has insomnia, which is a pretty good ability in its tier. Mega Mewtwo X has an additional fighting typing, a focus on physical attacks instead of spacial, which is a problem as it doesn't learn many strong physical moves, and stronger defensive stats. Its ability steadfast is pretty luck based and I don't think it will have much use. It might become a mixed sweeper but I have no idea what nature would work best in that case.

Edit: actually, I wouldn't call losing 20 in base defense small. Still, the boost in SP.DEF and Insomnia makes me think that Mewtwo Y is meant to counter Darkrai. The aditional fighting type to Mewtwo X also helps.

I wanted a gligar and all anyone wants is ylvetal or scizor

Also, Mewtwo only evolves into Mewtwo Y in the new movie, which is a pretty important factor.

Ok I'm confused.
I'm breeding a perfect Charmander. Currently got in day care two chars.
Perfect ivs for each are these -
Hp/def/spatck/spdef/speed
Hp/def/spatck/speed

Why am I still getting 3 perfect ivs only still? :/
Should I not be guaranteed 4 each time?
