Can I get this to work via Steam Big Picture by adding a shortcut or since it is launched via Battlelog is that not possible?

I think it was actually just poor English, not that he wished poor performance on someone out of spite or anything.
He was basically trying to say "I have a better CPU than you, but other similar specs, so hopefully your CPU is what is causing the 30-60fps and I will get better performance. (locked 60)"
My fucking god. Preloaded yesterday, played a little campaign today and decided to test how the performance is under Win8.
I start Origin on Win8...and my PC kinda ate my BF4 install? I installed it to my D: drive (which is a seperate partition) and it's gone. Now I have to download the whole 24gb again. Gonna take me about 4 hours.

My 1.5GB GTX 590 is cry.

had 1.5hrs of mp. the performance is superb, way way better than the beta. i had everything on ultra except msaa which is off, at 1920x1200 maintains 60fps like 99% of the time in 64p maps, this with only a OC 7970, cant wait for mantle...
Besides the good framerates, i think Dice tweaked the controls and movement. turning, aiming, running, driving, flying, swimming all feels very responsive. There is no stickiness like in bf3.
i did not encounter the 10gb of ram bug. main ram is about 5.9gb in use while vram is about 2gb.

No. Launch BF3 was 7gigs. Post BF3 with DLC/maps was like 20?
BF4 is gonna be bigger than that. Hide your 80gigs, because BF4 is gonna be exploding out there.
Last batch, anything beyond this will probably spoil the game. All I can say is that the graphics are phenomenal.

Can get it to download whatever it needs after unlocking, just keeps failing at 0%. Anyone have any suggestions?
BF3 with Premium is around 34 gb on my disk right now. Scared to see BF4 + All DLC!

I think you can pull that of with some varying framerates (30-50) Not sure what my actual framerate is but fraps registers this as a constant 60fps.
What did you think of BF3?

I tried the VPN trick, was able to get to the BattleLog launcher. Closed the VPN. Tried to launch the game and it gave me an error: Key already in use, please re-enter Game Key. Tried to re-enter game key, it says it is in use. The game is in my list of purchased items... Am i fucked?
I'm hoping that when it actually launches tomorrow, I will be able to play it.

I'm just a few levels in so my opinion might change but what I've played so far seems okay. Weapon handling is great, you get involved in some longer shooting encounters, levels don't have that bland feel but there's still retarded AI, bit too many scripted sequences and follow the arrow but hey ...
Yea, I should be fine. I am running i5 2500k with GTX670 4gb .
For MP, I normally don't turn things all the way up anyway because I am trying to stay above 60fps.

This is the lighting issue that I'm currently experiencing. I think I'm going to revert the drivers and see if that does anything, otherwise this is seizure inducing.
