Guys help me to decide whether or not to stick with my current Charmander.
It's hasty with 31/31/x/31/x/31. Now the x in defenses and the nature are perfectly fine with me as it's rarely going to make a difference I want this to be a Charizard X. I was thinking of:

I was gonna swap one of those with overheat to make good use of that spatt every now and again, but then I was alerted to Dragon Dance. Now I don't really like using a slot for it as I'll be switching around and hitting hard before retreating but I can definitely see it's uses. Should I breed another Charmander with Dragon Dance?

HA. I would get a 31 in all stats from a bergmite.

A 31 in speed is only going to impede a Bergmite (whether he's using Avalanche or part of a Trick Room team), so for all intents and purposes a "perfect" Bergmite has as low a speed IV as possible. At least in my understanding of this bulky defender's niche. I just settled for perfect HP, attack, and defense. Avalugg's sp. defense is so bad that an extra ~15 points at level 50 isn't going to make a lick of difference. That's what Sturdy's for.

if you walk past the platform that rises up instead of taking it, you can walk up a set of stairs and you can sit in a throne placed there.

Pikachu swept the first gym for me, but you can use Pidgey, Fletchling, Pansear, Vivillon, and even Dunsparce (they have Rollout).

No, same idea. I was actually wasn't going for those perfect stats. It would just so happen that the RNG hates me enough to do that.

Also, you can sit on the toadstool to the right of the fairy (I think) gym. The one where the gym is in a tree.

Her Surskit is Bug/Water, Fennekin should have no problem with her Vivillon though.

Anything Electric, Rock, or Flying should work. I think I used a Fletchling for Surskit and Fennekin for Vivillon.

Yeah, you'll be fine. I plan on using him for my lead for a while. Thinking Curse/Recover/Avalanche...not sure what else. Maybe Earthquake, Stone Edge, Roar, Gyro Ball...

Edit: Smogon suggests Rapid Spin. Smogon suggests a lot of things.

I'd say I'm about ten levels ahead, though bear in mind this was after I beat them. Having high Affection + EXP Share makes it really easy to gain EXP.

No. Inherits 3 random IV's from the parents, 5 if one of the parents is holding the destiny knot. So is a chance to get the same IV's on top of the chance to make it shinny

You're still a bit off from the next Gym, which has level 25 Pokemon. My game was the same way though, I wouldn't worry too much.

That makes sense. I used neither, and the game still had the lightest level curve that I remember in the series (by far, even). With them, I'd assume that would be about the level gap you'll turn out with.

That's the good thing about RPGs, you can make it as hard or as easy as you'd like just by playing in certain ways.

From what I've read HP is always superior to DEF, unless you're trying to use a lot of draining moves.
