Haven't touched my Vita in a while (not by choice but thanks to my tight university schedule) but I bought Persona 1 [PSP] and I got a really cheap 4GB memory card which I will most likely use for an US account.
Alright. I just got my Vita. What next?
Was also signing up for US PSN. I don't live in US. What do I do about the address?
Just put a fake address in. It is inconsequential. Also, set up a US amazon account to buy psn codes, if you don't already know this.
Stick with it! 2048 was my first Wipeout since 2097 and I thought I hit my limit around the A class elite passes. Now all I have left is three elite passes and i'm done, then to move on to the fury and hd expansions.
Latest Interview with creators, Nihon Falcon Konno says that next Ys is underway and will be for the vita!
Skyzard said:25 male London, UK, Iraqi as well.
michaelius said:Oh NISA will bring YS to Europe in 2014 - great news.
Also Grownlanser or Gungnir ? Which one is better ?
Another sale will come. Don't sweat over it.
I switched it on and managed to beat a time trial that was sucking the life out of me. But now I have completed the 2049 section I'm going to turn it off and try push through without it again.
What do you use for a > $ exchange? Does Paypal allow that or something?
Gungnir is more compared to games like Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre in gameplay and a bit of style. Though, this one has some minor flaws. The more noticeable and prominent one being, a lot of text is displayed during cutscenes and gameplay. It's more understandable what I'm talking about if you watch some gameplay videos.
I'm leaning towards Gungnir myself and still debating wether to get it or not.
The one time trial that is kicking my ass is the Capital Reach one in 2050 campaign, Elite pass is 2:50 and the best i've been able to get is 2.57.83 with the pir-hana.
...
Nice to have another Iraqi among us. I was worried to be the only one representing the vita here XD
...
I just use my credit card. The exchange rate is the bank rate. Amazon accepts international cards.
Vk3 is heavily focused on money, equipment and stats, so when you need money or you can't beat a boss you need to grind a lot, otherwise(=most of the time) it's not, i have always hated grinding in games, but i'm 25 hours in vk3 and i still want more because the game knows how to repay you.Is the game as grindy and repetitive as the reviews say it is?
Maybe it's more in line with your tastes or needs than persona 4?Because it's preventing my playthrough of Persona 4 Golden and that's a terrible thing. Maybe I just want a Fight Night successor on the Vita (which this isn't).
This is some kind of annual thing for them. Last years games were given away as PlayStation Plus freebies in Japan.Grasshopper Manufacture (Suda51's bad studio) has partnered up with some Japanese student game developers for six more Vita games
Doesn't it require an US billing address that matches you card's?I just use my credit card. The exchange rate is the bank rate. Amazon accepts international cards.
Ordered on Wednesday, still stuck on preparing^ definitely check out the other ships, really crazy the differences in handling sometimes, metropark takes a while to get used to with those annoying rocks around the insides of corners and that narrow ass bridge. Great sense of speed on that track though.
Wasn't expecting another either, pretty cool
-=-=-=-=
I just got order updates from Nippon-Yasan about the 64GB (which I ordered on Friday, changed status to preparing yesterday) - today I got 2 emails, shipped and transit (with tracking).
back in stock I guess?

I'd love to buy my codes there, but it's a no-go even with an international card.
All the talk about Metroidvanias in the other thread has made me realise I wish Hell Yeah Wrath of the Dead Rabbit had a Vita version. I enjoyed what I played of it on the PS3 but gave up, but it's exactly the type of game i'd play on my Vita.
Outside of Guacamelee and SOTN, what are some good Metroidvania titles on the Vita guys?

I played the demo of hell yeah and it looked like a normal platformer to me... Anyway i agree, i would like it to be on vita.
Knytt underground is an awesome metroidvania, but it's absolutely not for everyone because of some of its choices like: no fights, focus on your platforming/physic abilities in a giant labyrinthine world with points of interests that are distant and complex to reach(the map is the challenge, not the few enemies) etc.
It's a bet, you can love or hate it, if you think you could like exploring a very quiet but challenging game with great atmosphere then there are good chances that you'll like it.
man. I didn't know EDF would be part of this promotion :/

9.99 is the sale
you buy now
I picked up the first Corpse Party and was amused to see it's RPGmaker like graphics... yet, I'm still playing the game.
It's such a weird contrast.
Proteus drops tomorrow in the EU! (today in the US). It'll be £9.99 with a 10% discount for non-plus members and 20% for Plus members in the first two weeks. Cross Buy too!
I played about an hour of Batman last night, not really enough to give any reliable impressions. I like it so far, but I can imagine it gets old quickly if you're not that into the combat. As I say though, I've only played an hour or so before bedtime and I was knackered.
yeah, i felt that way too until about an hour in and then it starts to really feel cohesive. the sound direction adds a whole lot, too.
I just put in a fake us address. Bought a code just a month or 2 ago. Unless things changed really recently, it should still work.Doesn't it require an US billing address that matches you card's?

I see Lone Survivor is on sale starting today. Is it cross buy?
Yes it is.
New free radio app: TuneIN. Releases next week (US)

Tearaway will be it hopefully.
Crash isn't charming anymore - only to people with nostalgia for him - even if that is a lot of people, when they go back to play it - the game is punishing, it's just the way he moves and how constricted the levels are and the obstacles in his way. It's not fun for kids anymore who will be the main target with a character designed like him, unless they gave the game a larger world with interconnected typical crash bits...and more adult humour and focused on us instead. That's asking for a lot though I think - since crash is in skylanders or something kiddish as just another thing.
Starlight Inception is shit. And I was one of the people that hyped the last hours of the KS campaign.
*snip*
Are they releasing all the DLCs at the same time? Man, that's weird. Now I understand why they need so much time...
Is it just me, or others have some performance issues with Oddworld Stranger's Wrath HD as well? By performance issues i mean some strange "hitchups" from time to time, where the game freezes for a moment.
There were no problems in the tutorial area or in the first town, but just after I accepted the next bounty and passed the north gate, I started to experience this problem every few minutes.
Did you update the game? I recall there being an update that fixed a few things.
