XBL: Games with Gold

Condemned would have been a good pick for October, but methinks there going to go with that one next month.

I'd also wager gears 1 or Shadow Complex.

Call of Duty 3 or Splinter Cell Double Agent.

DO IT MICROSOFT.

I need for those communities to fill up again. It did such a great job for Halo 3 and RBSV.

Expect something old and stupid. I say Fuzion Frenzy 2.

I would LOVE COD 4:Modern Warfare.

My favorite multiplayer game of all time. It was damn near perfect. To have that community be big again at least for a little while would be amazing.

Maybe they're tapering off the entire with low expectations so they can "blow your socks off" with a megaton... or something.

This would actually be really good. It would also be perfect timing to get people excited about Ghosts.

Mortal Kombat or Grand Theft Auto 5 would be sick. :P I'm dreaming right.

Agreed. If there's one game that needs a community bump, it's this one. Best damn COD ever made.

There's no point. The MP has been completely destroyed thanks to hackers/modders, as are all CoD games up to MW2 I think and Infinity Ward said that there's nothing they can do, which really means they don't make money off it as much as anymore so they won't bother.

I wonder what criteria goes into choosing the games as I haven't been impressed with the ones so far? Why does most of the games have to be so old and cheap? Most of these games you can get at Walmart for $10 at the games bin except for the XBLA ones of course.

Asked and answered? :P

At least that would be a game I don't already have. I'd take that. Everything else I own.

quoting myself from August.

Sadly, all the titles on your list are old, but more likely than most. I would actually hope for "Shadowrun."
It will sound weird, but that game features the sniper rifle the way I have always felt it should be. USELESS for anything than melee at close range and requiring a skill to use that you have to say, "Damn, that guy killed me with the rifle? Ugh... good job." I don't mind dying in a game if it's a skillful death.
Not to mention I never picked it up even though I convinced half a dozen people to get it after playing the beta.
Sigh. It's gonna be something I already own though. I know it. I'm guessing...what... year one content now? Maybe the just give us ALL THREE First party games. I GUESS that's cool... right? -Adam

IMO it will be Gears 2, it has lots of DLC including ones for Horde and even story mode, published by Microsoft and has really good co-op and Horde mode. Too bad I already have it, but I guess it's still great game for people who haven't played it yet.

I just want it to be a good game I don't own, or one of my disc based games.

Was really pissed about Vegas given that was $3 during the sale. So Rockstar Table Tennis or. perfect Dark Zero would suck.

I've actually been looking for Condemned, so that would be a welcome addition. Ridiculous that it's still $20 on the marketplace.
