Killzone Shadow Fall - Ultra High Bitrate MP Footage

Yeah, it's pretty bad. Reminds me of Halo 2. Way way too zoomed in.

Graphics aren't all that impressive either imo. The lighting & environments in that MP map look like something straight out of Gears of War 3, but at 4xAA(?) & 60fps.

Probably one of the worst looking maps too ( since so many games can't get forests and foliage right, KZ SF does it well but still not perfect)

FPS is very smooth which is awesome and it looks very fun!!

I feel a city map will look phenomenal.

It's weird how it suggests using Windows Media Player, but it's a .mov file. My WMP has never played those. Is there an official codec pack I never got for WMP or something?

Looks damn nice in VLC at least.

It's AVC video wrapped in a MOV container. It's not quicktime video.

I wish they picked a better map to show off... this one is like my least favorite of everything they've shown.

That said, it looks friggin' amazing, and seeing it at the right framerate just blows away everything I've seen on Youtube.

Can. Not. WAIT. 12 more painful days to go.

I've never played a Killzone game. For those who have, what would you say is the feel of the game? More like CoD, Battlefield, or its own thing entirely?

Just watched the video. Still excited about this game, but man the FOV really IS awful. The aliasing doesn't seem to be a problem, but the pop-in is a little jarring. Hopefully the single-player mode doesn't have the pop-in as much. I'm gonna watch it on my TV now and see if it's any better from far away.

EDIT: Just watched it on my 50 inch TV from 7 feet away and I think it actually looks worse. The game has a very soft look. Still hoping for the best come launch.

It was unique before, now it's more of a class based COD, if it's anything like the shitheap that was KZ3.

Freakin glorious game. Best melee kills ever in a MP FPS? Looks on par with a very good system running Crysis 3. GG has done their work, and shown other developers what can be done with the PS4. This glorious looking game at 60fps in MP @ 1080p native? Wow.

Now give me my direct feed, high bitrate Single Player footage!!!!!!

I was VERY skeptical on Killzone, but I have to admit this looks really good. Not just graphics, but the gameplay looks solid as a house.

Wow, that looks great! So smooth (WMP worked perfectly for me, VLC was a bit choppy). The YouTube videos they've been putting out have really been doing this game a disservice, as those always seem to make the game look more or less choppy. In this video that problem doesn't exist.

Guys, next gen can't get soon enough, mostly 60 fps with no noticeable slowdowns, aliasing is close to non existent (MLAA is doing a superb job here), sharp textures, excellent particle effects, you really can't ask for more in graphics department, this makes BF4 single player graphics look like a poor effort. Also this is fucking LAUNCH game!!!!!!

The PS4 is a beast.

Standards are obviously subjective - I wouldn't consider this an example "non existent aliasing". It looks great though.

This video is still quite compressed. Just look at the direct-feed screens they have released, there's nothing soft about them at all.
