NO. no. NO. No. nO. I have run both simultaneously for over 8 years (it's part of my work), and ever since Win 7 Windows have been clearly ahead in so many ways.

I don't think that'd be possible without the kinect outright storing everyone's information and communicating it with other consoles.

The funny part is, if they made it 399$, I know a ton of people who would go xbox over ps4 just fore the kinect.

Yeah I know some people like that as well. The really funny part is they will "drop" the price in 2014 with the slow uptake by bundling Ryse/ Forza/ Some Else Game (2 games in total).

Nintendo did this with slow sales, MS will do as well.

Are you kidding? It was surprisingly good, the skype load time in the video wasn't just opening the app, it was opening the app, handshaking with the other dude, initialising video and beginning the whole conversation - I'd say to go from answering a call to actual discussion presumably genuinely over the internet (the guy appeared to be at home) - not bad.

Looks cool! But there are certain UI elements which confound me like busting out the friends list into its own app. That friends list and the social feed should be one scroll to the left or right. It's a shame that the system is seemingly underpowered and Microsoft has had to be raked over coals to get them to change their crazy policies. Otherwise, I would have been purchasing the system.

That was neat! I was most impressed with the voice recognition and how responsive that was.

They didn't show any snapping though. I was hoping to see some apps that were tailored companion apps like that HBO Game if Thrones SmartScreen demo but on one screen and via Snap.

Looks really nice and very smooth, but I thought it showed a whole lot of nothing for me personally. I'm sure it'll be great for those who are interested in an all in one entertainment box who like to jump between multiple apps constantly.

For me, my consoles are used by just me in my room so as nice as it was, multiple profiles isn't really aimed at me and I very rarely want to just randomly Skype with people. TV functions looked nice, but again I'm not big on live TV anyway and it probably won't work here.

I think they've nailed what they've aimed to do though, I just question whether they're expanding their market with it or they're going after something that people don't really want.

Does the TV even have an output port, I'm no expert but it seems quite rare? I don't think this stuff is really marketed towards anyone outside the US. Just look at TVii on the WiiU, that's NA/JP only also, right?

I am in no way trying to promote conspiracy theories, but come on we all know what you saw could have easily been faked. It's recorded television. You either believe CBOAT or you don't, and the only point at which he can be vindicated/vilified is a year or so from now when we have the full story.
