I can't believe how positive this thread has been. All the ps4 trolls must be playing their ps4s instead of wreaking havoc in all Xbone threads.

Anyway, I'm in! I preordered the XO + Forza 5 pack, and I'll get DR3, KI, Crimson Dragon and maybe Ryse (depending on reviews) also. If the Ryse reviews are really awful, I'll pick Zoo Tycoon, this game seem awesome.

Hoping to get it the 21st in the evening... I just can't wait, I'm really excited about this XO.

And the week after will be the PS4... But I'm more excited about the XO. :)
 
I really wish you guys a smooth launch. Eager to read some impressions.

I'm not getting a ONE at launch but I'm pretty sure I will get one down the line ( as I did with the 360 )

I'm kind of disappointed that there wont be any screenshot feature at launch, hopefully it'll get patched in.

Would have been perfect for those hilarious moments in Dead Rising 3.

Will have to wait a few extra days for mine (Brazillian here, too. Our country preorder and delivery logistics suck), but shouldn't be more than a few days.

The board has been refreshingly civil since the ps4 launch. Maybe everyone is busy playing there systems or maybe there is much less speculation now that reality is here. Looking forward to the xbone's critical reviews and launch.
 
I may have missed this, but has there been any confirmation regarding twitch streaming integrated into the XOne at launch yet? I asked yesterday, but there was no concrete yes or no answer.
 
I have a recent gaming PC, so I've been watching the whole Xbox vs PS4 from afar, simply enjoying the ride. Turns out my younger brother is getting the Xbox One, though - I've not looked too much at it as, if anything, I'd get a PS4 (I'm #TeamPS+, and let my Gold sub lapse last year).

Peggle's been delayed, right? He's getting CoD, BF4 and DR3. I suspect I'll be more interested in the XBLA games though.


Oh, and us the day one achievement a code? I was an achievement junkie back in the day, but he'll rightfully get it if he is. Well, depending on how it sells on eBay...

It's positive now because the thing hasn't been released. It'll all blow up once a problem is found with the system.
 
What a shame to have such post after I had taken some time to make a proper one, with just a humble and simple opinion... Glad this thread is back on proper discussion, hoping you all to have great fun.

By the way any Collector's editions revealed for the XB1's exclusives aside form Forza? Just curious, I remember getting a limited edition of Dead Rising 2 back in the day.

I like how they actually bothered to change a lot of things in the UI or at least make it flashier. From what I've seen of Sony's UI, while it's functionally better and faster than PS3 it's still so incredibly basic.
 
I've had my Xbox One preordered since June. I have a couple questions that I couldn't find any real answers to. First, are any games going to support 7.1 surround sound now that the games are on blu-rays? Also, about the Kinect...the only feasible spot I can put it is in front of my TV on the bottom. It will be right above the center channel speaker. Is this going to be a problem?

I personally cannot wait until Friday. I have Battlefield 4, Dead Rising 3, and Assassin's Creed 4 on order, and I'll also be picking up Killer Instinct on Friday. I had both new consoles ordered and finally made my decision last week. I've purchased every Xbox console at launch. I couldn't stop at the 360. Based on what I've heard and seen about the One, it seems like I made the right choice. BRING ON FRIDAY!
 
I have nothing preorder but this will be my first next Gen for sure. I might be waiting until Titan Fall or after the release of All the KI characters. I can't wait :)...

Hmm, weird. Has there even been a Day One box out in the wild yet?

I guess all these green boxes mean there should be plenty for walk-ins.
 
Heck, my first nextgen preorder, i had my 360 fix when Kinect launched, was rocking a OG Xbox since The announcement of 360 lol.
before that I was a PC gamer.

My thoughts exactly, I understand what they were going for but it just feels bland when scrolling through the UI
 
Definitely feeling the hype now. This will actually be the first console I've gotten day 1. I've been suffering from current gen fatigue so I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on BF4, Forza and probably a couple of others depending on reviews.
 
any hints as to what will be shown at the vga's? i'd imagine our first real look at halo 5, and more titanfall and quantum break should be a given. hope there are some surprises too. dirt 4 would be swell.

Guys whats happening with the Day One games? (DR3, Ryse and Forza)

Are they only available by pre-order or will shops have them in-stock on launch day? I intend to buy all 3 on Friday but it would be nice to try and get the D1 editions if I can.

All we need is love love love @Gizmo have yet to see any X1 games in the wild only controllers, I would have already bought a bunch, Microsoft got them shits on LD
 
My first day 1 console purchase ever. Have to admit I'm not a fan of that text on the controller, I'd definitely prefer a normal one if given the choice. Can't wait though to tear through that dashboard and check out the exclusives. Love the look of the colorful games like Crimson Dragon and Sunset Overdrive, hope to see more of that one soon. It's gonna be a looong week.
