Where are those guys that were saying it was going to be 3DS exclusive (lmao) or Vita exclusive (lol).
I don't like the announcement for PS3. Like with Persona 4 I'll have moved on to next gen when it comes over here and I prefer my JRPGs on a handheld anyway. With PS4 there would have been Remote Play.
When they already picked the PS3, they should have made it multiplatform with Vita from the get go. They can still milk their fans with a remake.

Jan-March undoubtedly. I think Atlus would want to hold off if it wasn't going to release in this fiscal year.
I really don't get posts like these..Now Persona 5 is announced it's suddenly 'oh thank you Atlus you're the greatest blah blah blah', all the while forgetting the meltdown that happened like 30 minutes ago when it seemed that all we got is a Persona themed dungeoncrawler for 3DS and people were saying 'fuck you Atlus'. It's not like a Persona-game only sells on one platform only.
Perhaps we'll only get the PS4 version.

True, I was just referring to non-Nintendo Japanese games in general for the new gen. PS4's looking really dry in that department.

That's a good point, they didn't say if they meant Q1 or Q4... Although I'd imagine that it would be Q4.
Then why bother calling it winter of 2014? Why not just say "December of 2014."
It still exists, it's just a part of Sega now.
They did this last gen too. Plus Gaikai should help a bit down the line with streaming to PS4, hopefully. Expect an improved Vita version years from now.

So just over a year from now, that is quite awesome. Was worried there'd be a longer delay with the Vita dance game and Shadow Labyrinth for 3DS both coming out next year too.
Hope it's not delayed, and I hope the PS4 does well enough here for it to be a cross-gen title, even if not right away (or Vita works too).

Ughh, USA probably won't get it until 2015, 9yrs after the PS3. Just why? Who's still going to have a PS3 as their main gaming system in 2015? The system will be abandoned for the most part by then, at least in the USA. Why not at least a cross-gen release? Unless they're going to milk this out by releasing a deluxe version on the PS4 a year after. Pretty disappointed, but considering P4 came out for the PS2 8yrs after the PS2 came out, I can't say I'm even surprised. Just disappointed.

In Japan they almost always mean the end of the year when they say winter 20XX for what I've seen.
Can't wait for the next Tales game for PS3 announced soon. Lol.
Anyway PS3 is beasting.
If you were really told that it might not be totally unreasonable to think that they might hold back that announcement until the PS4 launches in Japan. Could be something to entice a buy.
