ehhh this game looks so off putting to me, and I don't know if I can stomach another Obsidian "mild success" after Outer Worlds 2. Maybe I'd try it if there's a demo.

This was the game that broke me. Tried to like it along with many other games this generation. Gave up around act 2 or 3, traded my series x in and out the credit towards a Switch 2. New AAA games from western devs are just not for me anymore.

The people who are interested in this are probably not the same people who shat on the game without playing it, just a hunch.
I mean, it felt like everyone was shitting on it here, lol. Unless it was the same folks over and over again.
Lots of people enjoy the game, it's called having an opinion based on actually playing a game lol
Well, yeah, but I felt like there was a period where anytime someone mentioned the name they were immediately dogged on, lol.

Stoked for folks on PS5 getting to play it though, I always thought it looked interesting.

Oh I see what you did there.

Yeah there absolutely was. For various obvious reason the game had a lot of haters really quickly.

Some who played the game didn't like it of course as well, but most seemed to.

Nice graphics, decent combat and exploration, boring writing and quests....6/10 but I did finish it.

I really hope Outer Worlds 2 will be better, gonna try it this year.
It looks good with nanite and lumen but the static nature of the environment sucks hard, everything is locked in place, zero physics (same with Outer Worlds 2).
All that tech and most PS3 titles where more interacive and had physics, we are evolving backwards.

I will still say it's mostly a shitty game and only exploration can be mildly entertaining, that's assuming you're okay with visiting a cardboard world.

This game was very mid, beat it on Series X. It has a similar problem to Starfield, which is that it has the depth of a puddle in terms of its world and game mechanics. It looks pretty, but the story didn't do it for me. The companions weren't as well written as their previous titles.
