I refuse to give Obsidian(MS) any money. They haven't made anything good in a long time either. Last good game they made was Tyranny. I foolishly bought TOW 1 when it released and it was a piece of shit. Plus they're woke shit people on the dev team is people I'd like to support either.

You can pretty much count on needed a Microsoft account for every game here on out.

Meh played it on gamepass and I enjoyed it a solid 80s grade game.

It's a year old now and was originally a free to play via gamepass. I'd have a hard time recommending a Sony only player to pay more than $30 for it

There are hundreds of people who work on games, I don't care how stupid any of them are individually and I don't know why anyone wastes their time looking into this kind of thing. It's not illegal to be an idiot, if you want to reply to stupid things he says on twitter or whatever that's up to you but honestly if these kinds of comments bother people so much they probably shouldn't be on social media because it's full of people on both sides saying the dumbest shit possible just to get a rise out of the other side. It's obviously your right to not buy the game based on the art directors words but nobody is going to blame those words for poor sales and they would be right not to, I do think the art has put a lot of people off though (including me) so he could be blamed for that.

I'm glad to see it coming. I was wondering when it would. I'll give it a try at some point. I always felt the game got a bad rap on GAF due to the one-two punch of being an Xbox game and also having the DEI fiasco attached to it. I felt the latter was overblown.

Based on what I've heard, I expect a decent, standard RPG with good exploration and combat, mixed with boring characters and story. That's ok. Nothing I need to rush out and play, but enjoyable if I keep my expectations in check.
