Imagine the MC is Nanako and if its a prison setting (or partly set there), Nanako could meet Adachi and confront him about what happened when she was a kid, or Adachi could help Nanako as a form of redemption over what happened.
These kinds of games sell well on vita for some reason.

I don't think any of those spinoffs are being made to make tons of cash... :/ it would be surprising if they outsold a mainline Persona game anyway.
PS4? It should have a big enough fanbase by Winter 2014

I hate announcements like this with no real media. Even my wife, who is the real Persona player in the house actually, was saying "they're running out of time to show me anything interesting in this trailer" as it ended. Come on Atlus!

SEGA likes making easy money from dance games so we get a rhythm game.
Fighting game was a success so we get a sequel.
Persona brand is huge at the moment so we get Persona 5.
All are kinda self explanatory and fully expect P5 to be the highest selling entry and Atlus to make bank from all of them.

nope, i just basing a guess on the story of P4 and going by what could potentially happen in P5 if those 2 characters were in the game. not a part of any twitter movement.
I should have quoted the comments about P6 coming out for P4 after the generation was finished. That's what I was responding to. I really doubt there will be another 6 year gap between entries given everything else Sega publishes.

I'm pretty glad they chose PS3 personally and this is coming from someone who'll own a PS4 before winter 2014. Just makes sense. If it's coming next year it's probably been in development for awhile. Not to mention this helps them keep the cost down i'd assume for the most part. However I find it more than possible that a PS4/Vita release could happen.

It took a while but Japanese got there.
well if you think about it, both Persona 3 and 4 were both announced in March 2006 and 2008 respectively and released 4 months later in July. And Persona 5 will most likely be in this weeks Famitsu and Dengeki Playstation.
