Well, those standards looks good and clean . They really touched them up, it seems.

I like it. If every standard is like this, I'm a happy guy. :D But it would have make sense, since you can tune them with exterior parts and photomode.
 
Well I don't know about you guys, but the bumper cam should be representative of a camera placed on the bumper, and thus shouldn't follow the same rules that our eyes would. The only camera in game that should smooth the movements of the car should be the cockpit view, the others should have movement dependent on what the chassis is doing.
 
he bumper cam in GT has never really been a bumper cam though, its set within the car, higher up, more of a windscreen cam, kinda at drivers eye level.

The movement of the chassis is currently reflected in the camera, just not so exaggerated that it would be unplayable (as if it was bolted on to the bumper).

The problem with attempting to simulate the bumpy nature of a road or a drivers general view is that it's going to irritate a lot of people. That's exactly what happened with Shift. People hated its cockpit view because of how unfocused the camera was. You can see how they attempted it here

Open that video, cover the game side, and try to focus on the road/horizon point.
If it isn't bothersome/tiring to you after the 2mins, you have some good eyes. :)

It does, but inside the car, your body is moving too (not at the same degree of course) and your head/neck too have stabilization movements, so unlike Shift (as posted by SolidSnakex) likes to translate the vibrations and accelerations/deceleration and lateral forces, on your body, they hardly occur at a velocity or frequency to produce such pronounced visuals.
Granted, when you hit the already slowing car at your front and go from 120km/h to 40km/h in a split second, the game doesn't translate that at all!

First thing I`ve noticed are much improved (per resolution) on-track car shadows - GT5 had those clean hi-res shadows in realtime only on Tsukuba, probably because of small memory footprint of that particular track.

Didn't bother me, but then again I try my best to replicate these types of cameras in games that allow custom camera positions.

I don't want to sound like I want to take away the stabilization, but it'd be nice to have an option to enable "shake effects" similar to what some games do. That way we could keep the cameras how they are and for those of us that want a little bit more vibration, even at the risk of being unrealistic, we could have it.

Basically, if you are driving a car and your vision is like that, it means your suspension is broken and you should stop immediately :)

I'd say it means your ocular nerve is having a stroke and it needs to be checked out. But even with your eyes stabilizing the movement of the car, cars with hard suspensions will still jerk your field of vision around enough. One of my favorite racing games, GTR2, is smart about this and essentially stabilizes your head but moves the car around it, similarly to what would happen in real life. Here's a race I did that showcases it.

The game introduces 19 new racetracks. What defines a great route? Do you have a personal favourite?

A great track is not about difficulty per se, but about driving pleasures. And many of the routes that are fun to drive derive this pleasure from the track’s ups and down, allowing you to get into a certain groove. Personally speaking, and apart from the Northern Loop, I enjoy traditional race tracks like Brands Hatch and Spa-Francorchamps, i.e. courses that treat you to high-speed curves and precarious passages that are dangerous and fun at the same time.

Im soo siked about gt6. Im not getting nextgen till Im done with gt6.
Im bummed about the micro transactions for gt6. But im not judging till i hear about how easy you make money, or if i see it myself.
But im hoping its only easier but doenst effect thw game at all like fm5. Fingers crossed.
