Hgnnnn I wanted to buy the Zelda 3DS bundle here in Austria, but if that Mario Kart bundle turns out to be a great deal...

Two questions: are amazon gift cards bought outside the UK eligible for amazon.co.uk? And are Club Nintendo codes restricted to specific countries inside the EU?
 
For some reason, tomorrow's gaming deals (not all deals, just gaming and a couple of others) are appearing on the site when there's 24 hours before they start. So far we're seeing Battlefield 4 (360 and PC, but not PS3 or next-gen), NBA 2k14 (PS3/360), Rocksmith 2014 (PS3, 360, PC) and X: Rebirth.

Edit: Godfather collection coming up! Given that the Fringe one was well-priced, this has potential.

hmm is this legit, can I buy it from Switzerland? Could soften the blow of them nasty shipping charges for video game items with that.

Edit: guess I'd need a fake UK address, I'm gonna pass, don't want to risk my CC so close to the PS4 launch.

I was wondering if I ought to pick up a second one, but I've no idea what local multiplayer titles exist for the system. What're you planning for?

(If I do want one, I've still got ShopTo points from my Wii U purchase plus PS4 plus - down the line - Bravely Default. That should knock a good chunk off the purchase cost of one)

Had a 3DS before and was never happy with it. Too much of a hassle. I'll stick to my Vita.

Yeah seems they're having a lot of issues.

I'd wait until they sort it out since they're putting authorisations on your card even if it fails.
 
I live outside the UK. Tried ordering the white 3ds XL for 130GBP. Apparently it is 130 regardless of VAT, so the red 3ds xl for 140GBP is actually cheaper for me. Kinda strange.

Mario kart white 3ds XL(UK regular price 185GBP, lighting deal price 130GBP):
154 GBP - regular price without VAT
24GBP lightning deal discount brings it to 130GBP
+8GBP for shipment
Total: 138GBP

Red 3DS XL (UK regular price 140GBP)
116 GBP without VAT
+8 GBP shipping
Total:124GBP - cheaper than the 130GBP lighting deal.

Since I don't really want mario kart, and the white color isn't my first choice i decided to pass on this one. (Edit: The free game from nintendo doesn't matter since i plan buying zelda/professor layton anyway)

I was too late to get the Black Skull edition but thanks to you i got the normal PS4 edition for £38 (With £2 Christmas tree decorations too) so thanks a lot!

I was planning on staying with the PS+ and F2P games for a while but my wife wanted to get me AC4 so seeing this convinced her to let me get it :)

Cant wait for Friday now :)
 
PS Vita OG and Wii U Zelda pack coming up on Amazon.de in a few minutes. Depending on the prices, they're not gonna last more than 5 minutes.

It's strange but it benefits some of us while for others like you it's a negative. For me it means I save around 4% because the price doesn't add Finnish extra VAT on top of that price like Amazon usually does.
 
Anyone seen Batman Origins on sale this week yet?
I have a feeling it's a prime target for Black Friday sales, but knowing my luck it'll be put before and I'll miss it.

Interesting they made multiple mistakes.

Zavvi sent me the wrong item before, but did not care enough to tell me via email.

The fact they are happy to tell me they are wrong, and seem so set on me sending it back makes think it is not just a pair of Angry Birds Socks.

I am now starting to think they sent the Bundle by mistake.
