Should the software update via USB stick be the very first thing you do when powering on the PS4?
I'd go with Sony.
Dunno but that's precisely what I did.
Tracking the driver is a strangely addictive. Mine has done over 40 deliveries and never been more than about 1.5 miles from my house.

I'm so happy with it already andI haven't even booted a game!!! Just spent an hour messing around with the settings, setting up downloads, connected Vita, iPad and just trying stuff out. So quiet, so fast, so simple!!
Going to leave the downloads going while I pop into town to pick up another game then back home to set up the camera and play some games. The only down side is that my 1GB hdd was due to arrive today or tomorrow but it's not turned up yet so I'll have to download stuff again tomorrow.
I wonder why the main light is white rather than blue in it's normal state? Can't help but feel that blue would be nicer.
Really surprised at how well the motion control keypad works, it's brilliant.

It really is! I think I could have handled it better if I had a lower number for my delivery. He had his first delivery at 10.30 this morning and I got lucky number 121. I didn't think it was possible, so I've kept my eye on it and probably will continue to do so. I'm so eager for a bloody PS4!

All connected up and it's downloaded the update but it's now just sat there saying "Preparing to install..." for ages. Is that right? Do i need to turn it off and on again?

There's a link in the email that amazon sent that says 'Follow my parcel'. It takes you to a different tracking screen than if you just put in your code on the site.
It has that info and a map and stuff.
