Psn is jammed up. Same thing happened here in the states. EA did have issues last week but they seem to have ironed it out. I suggest just tinkering around the system and learning it. There is a lot there. Setting up a party, new messaging, audio and video settings. Twitch....

Can't connect to server (obviously).

Will my trophies be all messed up if I start playing Killzone without first logging into PSN/setting up a profile?

I got an email saying that I wasn't at home despite me watching the guy all the time. He didn't leave it to the neighbor but said noone was at home. I'll have to pay extra to get it redelivered on saturdays. Anyways, I sent a complaint email to them, hopefully they will make it right to me.
 
RE: My controller problem. Called Sony and the told me id have to send mine in to be tested before I could get a replacement. Bought a new one from argos, works like a champ. But now im £55 quid out of pocket. Not at all happy.
 
Barely played anything in these few hours I've had it.

Made in China, works like a dream. Took me a few tries to sign in to PSN and a few failed attempts to confirm my PSN+ but other than that it's been smooth. Resogun and uh, that other one - Contrast is it? - downloaded without a hitch.

I also got my Vita with it today (part of the bundle) and PSN+ alone makes it worth it, got all the games available for free.

Also tried out remote play, and it works like a dream, which is useful because I'm going away for a five day jaunt come Monday! Huzzah.

Now to see if NBA 2K has finally finished installing ~_~*
 
Anybodies DPD tracking glitched out? My driver has been in the same spot for about 45 minutes. He must be either taking a break or something has stopped him from working. Anybody had anything similar?
 
Okay, still can't get the HDMI cable in properly. Should I just call support and hope they can talk me through a fix? (hopefully without sending it away... ;_; )

Also, can someone link me to where I can find the support line?

With PSN acting up, I assume you haven't been able to patch the game. BF4 unpatched is completely broken.
 
Been playing Killzone for a bit, and just reached chapter 4.

To be honest, I think it's poor. I can't believe I chose this as my one and only launch game. It's very pretty, though.

When PSN works, I'll be sure to try Resogun. Hopefully, it can lift my spirits a little.

Yeah it's been like this all day. I've been trying intermittently for hours and only once did I get to a screen where you can choose to use a real name or username. After that it failed and I was kicked back to the login screen again. Hasn't worked since so I've never actually managed to log in, but then why would it; traffic is only going to get worse and worse as more people start using them.

Pretty abysmal really from the online perspective, but at least the console doesn't need to be online. I've had fun with ACIV so far, and I hear that these trophies under 'User1' will transfer once PSN is up and I can log in.

Stuart444 is having the same issue and i think he's narrowed it down to the HDMI cable not connecting properly. There's some things people say to try.

Power off by holding the power button for 7+ seconds, wait a bit, hold the power button again while it powers up, it will beep and go into safe mode.

Unplug the HDMI and check to port and the cable for misaligned pins or bits of metal that have come loose.
 
DPD tracking must have glitched. Its just finally caught up and jumped from 91 to 102 deliveries completed. Jeez this is a rough ride. It takes a lot to shake me too!

Yes same here. I'm hoping its offered to me as I sign up to PS+ for the first time.
 
I just realised my PS4 has been driving up and down south London in the DPD van since 9AM .............. if I get the white light I'm going to be so pissed

Not available to people who've had Plus before, which apparently includes the month free they gave people after PSN was hacked, because that's the only time I ever did.

Yeah it does that quite often I've noticed. Mines going to be delivered in about 5 minutes. I'm still at work though. :(
 
My god, I cannot believe how awesome the controller is. Just been playing BF4 and the difference between this and the Xbone controller is pretty major. Just seem to have far more accuracy with the DS4.

Brilliant! :)
