I highly suggest waiting with the SSD replacement, until Sony releases a patch that allows to disable the constant recording of your games (the last 15 minutes of your game).

The way how it works now, it constantly records the gameplay to the HDD, or SSD in your case. And you cant disable that feature ATM. So it produces constant write cycles on the SSD. And we all know that non stop write cycles arent the best thing for a SSD drive.

btw- is anyone else just scrolling all the pages and just caring for pics/video links?

Even if it was doing constant writes all day every day it would still last ages. The few hours a week this will get will be perfectly fine.

Ugh. Finally made it through to the screen where you choose whether to use your real name etc. and it fails again. I've been trying intermittently for around 6 hours and that's the second time I've got that far. So I still haven't managed to log in even once.

You can't redeem any codes right now. It's disabled.

I was just playing it. It doesn't. It's behind the PC Crysis 2/3, BF3/4, Witcher 2 and Metro Last Light. Frame Rate is only 30 (and noticeably stuttery), there's jaggies and LOD pop in. It looks great, but those games all look considerably better.

You know what... Knack is pretty fun. I'm actually enjoying it. It's quite challenging too. Graphically it's certainly nothing special but it's sharp and colourful all the same.

I have only played Crysis 3 on my 7870 and it was seriously impressive. But I would give the IQ edge to Killzone. The AA and post processing is just unreal, combined with the fluidity. Characters roughly equal. Crysis 3 environments are more complex though I think.

Really surprised me positively since I was expecting PS4 to be an X51 minus.

Plugged my Skullcandy G.I.s into my DS4, little thing popped up on my screen about voice commands.
Works great, easy switches to the game you want, good stuff.

Impressed with the speed of PSN (it feels sooooo much better/faster than PS3, even just launching PSN takes forever on PS3).

That part of PSN might've been down or something, try restarting the console (I think I read this fixes it somewhere, or I could be imagining things).

Bro I agree....I have a 3770K CPU@4.6ghz - 16gb DDR3 Ram - 7970 VaporX@1200mhz Core/1600mhz Memory. I also feel that Killzone is doing a lot more in the graphic tech area...it really is, some of the effects used in Killzone are very cutting edge with an end result of one awesome looking game. I have beat Crysis 3 on my PC maxed out at 1080p....so i know what one of the best looking PC games look like with maxed out visuals. Killzone beats Crysis 3 PC overall in sheer graphics tech in most area's although Crysis 3 does do some things better as well in terms of visuals but overall i give KZ the nod....I realize PC still has the advantage of higher resolutions, better AA but that only does so much ...I totally feel KZ on PS4 is the best looking game to date on any platform..yeah believe that! This is coming from a PC gamer with a very capable gaming rig i personally built last summer.

Keep this in mind...if PS4 launch game is already matching and surpassing Crysis 3 on PC in IQ and graphic effects and just overall beauty...just imagine what this PS4 will be pumping out in a year from now. Heck ...just look at Infamous..that game is JAW DROPPING BEAUTIFUL and imho surpasses killzone and Infamous is only a few months away from dropping.

Yes there are GREAT THINGS coming on PS4 that will blow our minds!! Again..this is coming from a PC gamer which may sound weird because there seems to be a lack of unbiased PC gamers that actually have a true passion for gaming on all platforms..there is no fricking way i could just stick with PC gaming alone...the PS4 is a monster machine that will raise the bar in games graphically soon! And the good thing about this is that the PC platform will benefit from this!! PC platform will get some kick ass PS4/X1 ports that we as PC gamers can also finally get more out of our hardware.

You have to go to the store and there under PS+ it says "14 day trial" or something like that. Only restriction is that you don't have an active subscription.
