One question anyone in UK order BF4 from amazon? Mine didn't come with the China Rising code which was originally advertised, just wanted to know if other people had the same issue? There seems to be a large discussion on the amazon forums. Just thought I put this here just in case someone had not realised.

Got my bundles from Amazon yesterday morning (one for me and the other as a Xmas' gift for my brother), and even tho I'm not a scalper, I've never attempted to be one ever and I'm definitely not looking to become one in the future, I'll prolly try to flip 'em both just for kicks.
The thing is readily available in most italian cities and even then, ordering from Amazon gives you a December 16 shipping date; if anyone out there is so desperate to avoid waiting a couple more weeks (in the comfort of your home, just waiting for the Express Courier guy to show up!) and wants to pay a premium for that... then let them I say. It's not like I robbed a fellow gamer of some super rare item (or even worse the tickets for a gig or something like that). I, on the other hand, have no problem waiting If I can make at least a couple of hundred euros between the two of them to grab a WiiU then I'm gonna do it and just re-order from Amazon.
But you know what's strange? Last generation the mere thought of selling my new console would have never even crossed my mind, now I've got it sitting on a corner, still in its original packaging. I dunno, I'm mildly curious to try it just to look at the graphics but far from excited... it's kinda sad if I think about it. And yes, I was already an adult last gen (I'm 36).

So... it sounds like the system doesn't have any actual startup sound, or does it? I just see a white PS logo and that's it.

Mine didn't either, I contacted CS and they said they're investigating and will update within "3 days".
Ideally they would give me £12 credit towards a PSN voucher.. I'm going to end up with premium whatever happens.

I disconnected the consoles power and restarted it, worked for now. Still, I'm kinda afraid now.
Might grab Assassins Creed in a bit. Quick question - does anyone know if the german version also supports english? (or if the game supports multi-language). The box says its in german, but doesnt say anything about other languages.
Other than that, I'm a bit puzzled how the video files are created - so it's double-tap the button to restart 15 mins of video? So using this I can basically set a video file to a certain length? :S. Also, are there ways to cut a clip from 15 mins to 20 seconds?

Yeah, I was looking for a voucher too, but the 14 day trial is available on the store, so no need to input a code.

I do not know about the german but the spanish one does support english and it only mentions spanish on the box and in the amazon website. When i loaded up it defaulted in english probably because thats what i use in the consol.e
as far as the videos i wanted to record my lp of assasin's creed. Pressing once o n the share button saves the last minutes(up to fifteen) and then starts a new one.

Have you been able to download it? I've added the code onto my US account using the website but the PS4 isn't seeing it yet, I'm guessing due to the code function being dodgy at the moment.
Yeah, it downloaded no problem, I was able to start playing it within ten minutes! I entered the code onto the actual PS Store on my american account, let me download it straight away!

Same for me, CS told me to contact EA. I'm not sure I can be arsed with that. I'll see what happens to other people then decide on what to do.

playing around with the voice controls, works pretty much flawlessly on german, but it won't register asscreed 4 no matter what I try
Any Germans care to test?

Alright, not THAT flawless. Sorry PS4.
BF4 and the FIFA demo also don't get recognized. I don't care much about that stuff anyway and won't really use it but it's still weird that some get recongnized even if I pronounce them awkwardly and others don't no matter how I try.
Hmm, very frustrating. Its not picking up that I entered the code on the website, I enter it on the PS4 and it says its redeemed and ready for download but the download button doesn't do anything and it still doesn't show in my library
Annoying.
Minde did the same yesterday with ac4. It will quite down once is done installing. Problem for me was i couldnt fine anywhere to see the progress of the installation. People here suggested notifications but i looked everywhere and could not find anything.

I got the orb which is frankly a fiddly arse PoS...looking around the US have a really good charger that you click the DS4s into and out of:

It's happening. I don't feel ready for this gen. but the happenings are realer than they've ever been.
Off to Waitrose now with my Dad. Nostalgia from when we got my PS1 from Toysrus all those years ago! And funnily enough I was in that very shop yesterday where my friend got his copy of Ghosts and extra DS4.

Regarding the videos - I've just done some testing - pressing the share button once does not save the last fifteen minutes, it seems to just delete it and start a new one. However, this might be well known by now, but you can press it once to start a new clip then you can hold the share button to open the share menu, which then "ends" the clip. It's really not clear and I've been capturing game footage for years, so I shouldn't be this confused.
Edit: I just want to add how disappointed I am with the Vita off-screen play. Wii U this is not. There is so much lag it is very close to being unplayable and completely pointless. That and it seems to support maximum of 30fps. The quailty of the stream was fine, it's just...everything else. I was getting excited to play BF4 in bed

Ouch picked up Knack from US store but it's locked to that account cannot play on my EU account and has a padlock beside it.
Must be an issue with all EA games. The same thing happened to my Need for Speed Rivals copy. Was meant to be the Limited Edition, the copy I got wasn't.
I've got mixed responses from Amazon about it, between just sending a replacement, and them getting in touch with the fulfilment centre to check about it.
Settings, PSN then click on the one about license with the US account

Pretty sure it saves them and starts a new one since i have now saved and uploaded over 15 parts of lp. Go to your profile and the folder icon should have them all
I just tested it again. I pressed the button to start a new clip, played for a bit, pressed it again, played for a bit. I should have 2 clips, but I only have the second video stored.

Everyone on my friends list is playing the SP.
Not for me. Still not picking up my code I entered on the website and on the store it says the game is ready for download but the download button is greyed out and doesn't do anything.
Kinda puts you off digital when prices are stupid and then you can't even get the game when you do pay for it.
