Now that the last playable character for DKTF has been leaked I am pretty sure you'll be getting that as VGX reveal.

It's Metroid x Starfox. It wasn't announced in E3 because now it's Metroid x Starfox x Mass Effect. Unprecedented partnership.
 
Would it be too much to ask for a live thread discussing reveals and only reveals, with no commentary on the awards or anything else about the show? I'm not actually trying to be snarky or anything, that would just make the whole thing more pleasant for me. It is really all I care about and stuff like videogame awards and reactions to them actually bum me out.

I really don't think it will be more Donkey Kong. Since they just did a big segment on it for GTTV a couple weeks ago.
But we'll see.
 
I'm expecting a Smash, Mario Kart, or Bayonetta trailer.

I want a Zelda WiiU trailer, or a reveal of whatever the hell that Human Head project is (Metroid...?).

Hopefully it's going to be a videogame. For the WiiU.

Trailer and release date for Bayo 2? But that might be hoping for too much.

It simply must be something new, I would predict a third party partnership with a western developer.

Metroid would be a natural fit, whoever comments from Miyamoto suggest it is not yet in development.

F-Zero would overlap too heavily with Shin en's new title.

Zelda is already in development.

Fire Emblem is too niche, Intelligent Systems' unannounced Wii u title would be a stretch.

Maybe Miyamoto has decided to make a game like Halo after all?

I therefore predict the return of Starfox in some shape or form.

No man, it's finally going to be that Halo killer, yo! Seriously though, i was immensely bummed out by the DKC:TF reveal. When you look at something like Yarn Yoshi... that was made by a 3rd party, I have to wonder if it really takes Retro to make another DKC. Especially over this period.
 
Reggie: I'm here to talk about Mario Kart 8. It comes out in the spring but you can download the online demo RIGHT NOW!
 
Reggie will come in, say absolutely nothing, hold a lettuce in front of him and stare at it for ten whole minutes.

Then Smash Bros. Trailer: Cat Suit confirmed as an item.

Keighley is a dudebro and hates Nintendo and Reggie is just using him.

I bet they would drink beers together away from the set but when Reggie wanted to leave the bar early to play some Earthbound, Keighley would say "meet ya there" and spend the rest of the night getting rejected by hot babes.
 
Do I think they might announce Zelda U? Sure, they might. Do I think, if they were to show anything from that game, it may be nothing more than a bare minimum teaser, like a piece of art? Sure.

When I've been talking about Miyamoto/Aonuma 'showing' something from Zelda, I'm not expecting them to have shown off a big Twilight Princess-style trailer. Do I think Nintendo is aiming to have it out for next holiday? I'm pretty sure they'd like to if they could.
 
Reggie's just going to look directly into the camera and slow jerk on stage, while repeatedly asking "Is your body ready?" with increasing intensity.
 
It'd be awesome if Reggie drove onto the stage in a futuristic "car" with a Link hat on and then showed the first screens of Miyamoto's Pac Man Versus-like new IP.
 
It's Nintendo's secret weapon that will bring Iwata's 1 billion yen forecast to fruition: Zelda U launching later this month, Super Metroid U in March.

That wouldn't surprise me seeing as how the GTTV episode on Nintendo had a long gameplay look at Tropical Freeze.
