Ive been spending a lot of time with the Vita Orochi Musou 2 Ultimate. Got it from the JPSN. Great title if you are a fan of the series. Its too bad that they didnt seem to release it in the US yet?

Granted things like enemy pop in is like playing the PS2 version, the amount of content and if you dont mind the old school feeling its a great time waster. Plus ton of characters.

The trailer below is cut so that it doesnt really show how "bad" pop in is, but gives you an idea of how the game looks. If you are one who doenst overly concern themselves with graphics and enjoys the series Id suggest looking into this title "when / if" its released in the west. Seriously sunk in over 20 hours so far and been doing inazuma drops to everyone using Ryu Hayabusa lol.

Also click the link below to see a bunch of other character videos. Didnt want to go through the trouble of linking everything here.

I actually could record some of my own stuff but that means having to move the PSV Tv back to the PC. So am seriously considering getting a 2nd one just so i dont have to do that. I mean hell its cheap enough.

Operation Backlog is coming along nicely.

In the last two days I've finished Killzone Mecenary (previously discussed) and just now, I put a fork in Hotline Miami.

HOLY SHIT HM tested me. I have never or will never claim to be a "great video game player", I enjoy gaming but I generally suck at it! I was happy to get through this game - a little personal achievement for me :)

4 vita charges in 2 days - a personal record!

If you stick with it, it'll be even more fun! Have you seen all the endings? :D The trick in Hotline Miami is generally not giving a fuck

or you could manipulate the dumb ass AIs

DAMMIT ALL TO HELL.

I just made it to 4-3 in Spelunky. I had 11+ lives, 1 bomb, and 13+ ropes with the climbing gloves and the compass.

I was trying to deal with one of those shaman jackholes and didn't know he could basically telefrag you and it was insta-death. F#@$!@%$%@!!!!
Just one bomb... That's the problem ;)

I doubt I've seen everything, I played it through to the credits and the main menu came up again.

I'll definitely be playing through his again. There is definitely A LOT of room for improvement on my scores!

Or more if you get bad ending :D
Lol I made sure that wouldn't happen ;)

Spoilerz:
tonight I got through all of the Namatame stuff. All that's left is to do dungeons for Adachi, Marie, and Izanami. I'm already level 81 so by the time I get to that last fight I should be at 90 or so.

I did actually fuck up making "the decision" and got to the beginning of the glorified Game Over screen of an ending they have. But I went NOOOOOOOOOOO and reloaded :P

Has Unit 13 or Super Star Dust Delta ever been on sale in the US? I've been waiting for one ever since I got my Vita in March
LLShC.gif

Unit 13 has been on sale. SSDD doesn' need to because you're getting a stupid good deal already at $15 :P

Does PS3 save file will work on the PSV version? I've played WO3 for a time, put to backlog, and when I'm about to hop in again, they announce WO3 Ultimate so I hold back even more for it. But it'll waste if I can't transfer my save file D:

Hmm I dont believe you can? Let me check the JP site now and see if they mention anything about that. Will update this post in 5m.

*Edit

I didnt see anything on transferring data so we can just guess that its not possibly unless someone here who has says otherwise.

Just wanted to thank VitaGAF, for pointing me to Nippon-Yasan. Live in the Uk, ordered on Friday, shipped on Monday, arrived today, no Taxes added. Time to fill this bad boy up.

I've read in the announcement that it is possible, though I'm still not sure. Fingers crossed then for that.

I finished vanilla P4 with 45 hours clocked... The Vita port must have a lot of new content to fill 20 extra hours. :o

Its funny you would think that the Vita port would make it faster considering how much easier they made things, so you dont have to spend as much time grinding away to get your personas to roflstomp level and whatnots.

At least thats what I though and it was appreciated that some tweaks were made.

Just saw this. Went and asked Dr. Google.

"If you have Warriors Orochi 3 you can import save data and any DLC you purchased into Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate. Save data from the PSP version can be imported into the Vita release. Save data importing is done over PlayStation Network. Also, if you saw the good ending on your file you can jump straight into the new story."

So its sounding more like PSP to PSV data can be imported, but not PS3 to PSV?

Yeah I got a point that a P4 guide said things would be winding down and still got out about 15hrs-20hrs after that from the Vita version sooo yeah.

Yeah, even with an extra dungeon, you would think P4G would be faster to beat than vanilla P4. But hey, I am not complaining, the longer the game, the better to me.

Good. Can't wait to experience the new content that wasn't present in the vanilla version of the game.

So what kind of game is Terraria anyways? Heard about it a lot but I honestly know nada about it.

Anyways...

I feel bad.

It seems like I post in here more often than I actually play my Vita. I've been abandoning it real bad.

Even after I bought Flower for it. Man, feels real bad about this.....

The dream is dead, why it should come to this

Im actually considering the PS3 version just so I can have even more fucked up fun with the game, since really am enjoying the vita version. But want to have more enemies on the screen present at once to get maximum musou effect lol

While not 100% true the most simple explanation is that its a side scroller 2d survival type of game where you can build / deform the landscape like minecraft. Lots of vids on YT to check out to see more of gameplay and such. Some folks seem to love it others hate it.

^ Hmmmmm.

Worth getting it in Vita instead of just getting it on the PS3? Much cheaper on the latter too.... hmmmm.

I suppose it depends on how you want to play really. Thats all it boils down to with PS3 vs Vita haha.

One example is my friends kid didnt like Minecraft, but he loves Terraria. Im a bit of the opposite, but do see that Terraria is special in its own ways, but it sure as hell is a lot harder than minecraft lol. Just due to not being able to run away in a 3 dimensional space if that makes sense. Also am sure your first battle cry for the game will be "FUCK THE FLYING EYEBALL THING". :)

I love my PS4 and I love the idea of remote play... but when I'm sat down at home with my Vita I just want to play Vita games. Hopefully the PS4 pulls people into the Vita and they actually try some of the fantastic games on the platform. <3

Also, I'm really REALLY liking Sonic Racing.

Vitabros and Vitasistas, I do hope you're looking forward to Broken Sword 5, they're aiming to releasing it by late December at the earliest

This game is goofy fun, and I love the combat.

Caaaan't waiiit :D, hopefully it's more like BS1 & 2 than 3&4.

LOLOLOLOL.

Did Falcom start putting scenes from later parts of the game as prologue since people were saying that the start of Sora no Kiseki was rather unexciting?

It's done in Zero no Kiseki, and also done in the Sen no Kiseki.

Is Sen no Kiseki officially called Eiyuu Densetsu 8 yet (or denied to be)?

I am playing Everybody's Tennis on my Vita right now and I want to know how many different Locations there are in the story mode. Anyone have an idea?
The game is fun and I am glad I bought it when it was only ~3 bucks on the PSN store. I have to say though that I prefer a more serious look with tennis games.

Bleh, I'm having trouble connecting to hosts in WRC3. I only have 3 of the game's online trophies left but there's hardly anyone playing and the couple of games I've seen I can't connect to. It's weird, but this is a problem I've had with a few Vita games. Never had any problems with online on any other platform, but for Vita I've had trouble connecting to a host in a number of games.

SHouldn't those images alone tell you that it's more like 1 & 2 than 3 & 4? From having played 10% of it, I'm liking it so far. Really has that classic BS feel.

As long as I don't see another crate puzzle.... Been reading some impressions and it seems like some people like it and some don't. That's why I'm still hopeful I'll like it :D.

If you wanted something more serious there is this. Granted I dont own it so cant really give you any more info than this video. But am sure Dr. Google is always happy to help you with the rest of your answers.

Man... I don't know if I can continue Valhalla knights 3. I'm simultaneously playing dragon's dogma and the combat is so stale in the former. I feel like I'm downgrading every time I play.

I ditched it and beat Injustice and I'm about to finish the Amazing spider-man. I'm afraid I may have wasted my money.

Can I just share some Tearaway love?

Hard day at work and an hour with atoi at lunch was just what I needed. :-)

There's some intangible quality in Tearaway that makes me feel like a 12 year old in front of my SNES again. Except my big dumb face is there on screen all the time.

Most of the GAF channels are on the rizon network, so I put this one on rizon too

Vita GAF has IRC now?

Time to log in, never log out, and only occasionally talk! :P

MY 64 GB HAS SHIPPED! I SHOULD BE GETTING IT BY MONDAY!!!!11111

Oh man - if this is what you post when it ships, cant wait to see what you post when it arrives :-p

Also know what just dawned on me? In the coming months we should start to hear about Drinkbox's next game!!

Posted some impressions in the OT... But Stick it to the Man is decent! Good quirky fun. Original, with some great voice acting. Great addition to the Vita library!

Terraria coming this year makes me happy. Held out for the Vita version...

Edit: Top of page?
Already recommended. Stick it to the Man.

Definitely! Can't put my finger on it (ho ho) but I think it's the squirrels.
