Guys, honestly. I loved, LOVVVVVED VJ. Bayonetta is probably my favorite beat 'em up. Wonderful 101 demo turned me off hardcore and I don't know why
You'll get that with X since it's made by the same company.

The demo is no reason to not play W101, it's a game that takes an hour or two to really click, and when it does it's just insanity.

I'd seriously recommend borrowing or getting it cheap if possible. It takes a little while for the gameplay to click, like I found certain actions were better when done with the sticks over the touchpad. But damn did I love this game in the end.
As much as I loved BKO, X excites every single fiber of my being.
I beat Xenoblade twice, and all we've seen of X makes it seem like Xenoblade on steroids plus a whole heaping of more awesome.
I'm still waiting for Xenosaga IV. :-(
If they time that release date right things could go okay. As long as the advertising is there. If Nintendo plays it like Skyrim or something (I know it isnt) mixed with Transformers and post-apocalyptica goldmine eden, a bunch will bite for certain.

I feel like an unhelpful pessimist, but I have to say I have a really hard time believing X will ever be a big seller for Nintendo. What was the last "mature" big seller for Nintendo? Perfect Dark, maybe Goldeneye? Did Eternal Darkness sell well?
I dont think it will sell well at all, but if the marketing is done right (which we all know it probably wont be) then I dont see why it wouldnt sell completely horribly.
It's all in advertising and how hard they're willing to pimp it to media outlets.
I expect X to be a great game. I hope Monolith Soft cuts the excess fat; Xenoblade had a severe problem with that. My gut is telling me that X won't be a big seller. I *want* it to do extremely well for Nintendo, but I am quite pessimistic about it.
Oh, okay. Yeah, I could see that. I hope so, at least. I'd like to think it could at least sell better than W101, it seems like it would have a bit more mainstream appeal for one.
I picked up a Wii U yesterday. I picked it up at Shopko because they had the Nintendoland Deluxe bundle on sale for $250, and I used a coupon to knock $12 more off the price. Personally, I didn't really care which bundle was on sale because the game I got the system for was The Wonderful 101. I had Target price match their website so I could get it for $50.
After messing around with the system for a few hours, both the games I have seem interesting so far even though I've played them for a short amount of time. I can't wait to play the other games on the system like ZombiU and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and others coming in the future.

Apologize for early post I made saying Mario Kart and Smash were coming out in the fall of 2014, when apparently I'm told is this coming spring

I'm having more fun playing Super Mario 3D World alone than with others(I played some worlds with some friends, fucking chaos). Are you not interested in Pikmin 3, W101, Bayo2, Smash, Mario Kart and the other games that will come out next year? I don't know about FExSMT but if I had to guess I'd say the next proper FE will be again on handhelds.

If the bold is a major reason you're on the fence, don't fret it; 3D world makes for one very solid single-player experience, especially if you aim for 100 percenting it.

and you will get some time from them, I've played more than 20 hours of W101 and 100 of MH3U.... I haven't even played past world 4 of Mario because of how much I'm playing the other games!

I think it varies. As you can see, the blue one has a clear standard jacket and battery cover with the new (White) strap. The black remote has a new black jacket with the Sync hole, but the battery cover is the older one without the Sync button on the outside.

So everything's jumbled up? That's honestly not what I expected. Both straps seem to be the old style as well (new ones have a syncing pin). Thanks for sharing. Been considering ordering the new battery covers, straps, and jackets to "upgrade" 2 of my older Remote Pluses.

I am seriously eyeing ZombieU--the game seems absolutely dreadful in all the right ways, hahaha (I love scary games), and SM3DW...
Pikmin 3? Hmm, haven't played any of the Pikmin games so I am not sure. Wonderful 101 looks great though, and it seems everyone and their grandma loves it to bits here in GAF.

You don't need to play any other Pikmin game to play Pikmin 3. Also yeah you're set for 2 players for 3D World with Gamepad + a Wii Mote.

If you can find it for a good price you should still try it. I wasn't keen on the demo but ended up loving the full game.

I wasn't really interested in the console. It's been a long long time away from Nintendo. But im starting to feel like I want to try it. I was at Nintendo World and I played Scribblenaut Unmasked and was left with awe!.
In Argentina, game consoles are really expensive and forget about importing(yeah should have got one in the states.. But I brought too many things already!) make a case for why should I do this, I mean to get really convinced, I loved Mario etc but I dunno if I still feel that need of playing those games, maybe I will?
They are selling the Mario U and Luigi U bundle and I think it has Nintendo land? Dunno.. Should I still get 3d world asap? Or what else, I will not be able to get a ton of things because as I said it's expensive!

It's not the best and not the only way. And you can combine 2 controllers if you want (wii motion for the action and gamepad screen for realt time map and managements)
The best way to play Pikmin3 is with the Wiimote+nunchuck, AND the gamepad (on your lap or in the stand). You can still use the gamepad as a map that way, and use it to navigate other groups around the map, while you're focussing on another group.
If money is a concern, get zombi U because it's A/ great and B/ cheap. I would also suggest Pikmin 3, because it's an adventurous RTS game, lighthearted, but rather competitive in the mission modes.
Try WiiMote + Nunchuk, I prefer this setup.
Well, i always liked Pikmin (since the GCN), and Pikmin 3 is easily the best one, with superior Wiimote controls to boot. It's a joy to play, a lot of fun and just like the other games, has a fine sense of humor, there isn't anything quite like it.
