Not sure about the latter, but try out the Doki Doki Universe demo. The menus and controls in the Vita version feel extremely sluggish. The game seems to be poorly optimized for the Vita.

Doki Doki has a free demo you can try out.
Stick it to the man is a fun and simple adventure game with wacky characters. It's gotten rave reviews from IGN even. It's also a great 'take a break from the main game' game.
 
I'm surprised, Crazy Market is actually a pretty good use of the interface and fun for a free to play.
 
For some reason I really want that weird 3D PONG game for PSone. Does anyone have that?
 
I already have Runner2 on steam. The PSone selection is terrible. EW. I already have R4 and thats like all I would purchase. Where are the shmups or weird puzzle games. There is like NO bubble bobble anywhere on the vita. :|


How about the PSminis, I see that iphone game EDGE is on here.
 
I'm fairly certain I have a copy of Tearaway under my Christmas tree. If not, I'll be purchasing it the day after. One way or another, I'll be doing my part.

I wouldn't recommend Minis TBH. What genre of games do you like? Check the entire PSX library, make a list then report back on what game su want impressions of.

This is actually looking quite great (for the game's style of course). It actually might end up looking even better than CP: Dead Patient (which I also hope comes to Vita eventually as well). Can't wait for this!
 
I like nearly all genres of games and I've literally looked through every PSONE title on the shop like 5 times. Actually most of my time spent with the vita has been spent thumbing around through the different stores. I really want DJ maxx teknika tune but its sooo expensive.

I really really want bubble bobble for psone or something like that.


Currently my Vita games are


Sound Shapes
Spelunky
P4 Golden
R4 Type 4
Metal Slug Anthology
Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins

I'm thinking either Jetmoto and canabalt or flower and canabalt. But I know I'm never gonna play Jetmoto.

Damn, I bet its awesome but I already have Pokemon X and P4 to get through. Hmmph. Maybe I'll just hang on to it and put it towards DjMaxx. I would be buying PSone titles left and right if they had a huge selection.

Well in that case, wait a while, I suspect there MAY be another 'Buy for $50, get $10 back' offer come February, like this year.
 
I wanted to take advantage of the PSN holiday sale and buy spelunky, but when I'm looking at the description, it only mentions PS3. Is it a cross buy title or just PS3? I rather play it on the vita.

Good for a little while from what I've heard, but afterwards it loses its charm.

How about getting a PSP game that's $10 or so? Tokobot is cool, Burnout paradise is kickass but must be transfered from a PS3 first.

IDK, I'm really compulsive about what games I play. For some reason on portables the only racing game I'll tolerate is RR. Burnout is one of my favorite series, and I believe I had or borrowed one of those burnout games back in the day, but I can't really not play it on a PC or tv or whatevs.


Blech. I totally have such a "want to buy something" boner right now. I think I'll just hold onto it. I see DJmax 3 is 19bucks on psn so maybe I'll just pick that up at some point. I really just need to play the vita games I already have.
 
i know the majority of the people here have the 32 gig, but i'm selling a digital copy of walking dead season 1 for $10 paypal, and a 4gb memory card for $11 paypal. i put it in the b/s thread, but i'm getting overshadowed by the 9000 item lists that no one ever buys from.

i'm also a re-bought vita gaf. grabbed a black one off ebay for $135 and persona 4 was $16 on amazon.

e: is mlb the show 3 for vita no longer available on psn? i only see the ps3 version on sale for $10

Hold up for a second. An Infamous Vita of some sort....is actually coming? This is confirmed? Port or not, this is good news.

Resident Evil 2 is on the PS3 store but not on the Vita store for some reason - it was up until recently and should be compatible. But yep a few classics missing. We have crash and spyro though.
 
I was wondering if someone could explain the PS Plus game releases for instant collection. I don't really get the whole release time frame for Vita games. This month we're supposed to get Sonic All-Stars Racing and some dirtbike game, but I still see the same old games for free on the PS Store.

The PlayStation Plus selection in North America updates at the end of the month IIRC.

Usually vitas at end of month so figure dirt bike thingee this Tuesday and Sonic cart the following Tuesday

US PSN offers the Vita Plus games weekly, as in one or two games a week.
The Vita games are offered last.

EU PSN offers Plus games at the end of every month or start of a new month.

Last two weeks - Vita

It's like this every single month.

Well, Sony could "encourage" a PS4 nextgen exclusive + Vita version like they did with Injustice. It won't be weird, it's not as if Capcom hates the Vita itself xD
 
I just noticed Escape Plan for VITA is appearing as Free on PSN. I am not sure if i saw it before. What's surprising to me is that the DLC is also available for free now. While i did own the original Escape Plan on VITA, i never had the DLC. Now it seems like the PS4 re-release has resulted in the DLC "Bakuki's Lair" available for free(Or was it even a DLC?)

Also got my $10 bonus :D
